Block first timers from Party Finder!

Setting up a party how a player wants is not selfish or elitist.

and i'm on tonberry a jp server. JP players do learning and farm parties just like we do. Why do people spout this misconception that jp use pf to clear and df to farm. I see pfs for both in English, japanese and other asian dialects.

I think you need to take a step back and really see whats being ask rather then go ape on misconceptions and fasle assumptions.A PLAYER should never be forced into a sitation they don't want. What is hard from asking a party leader to join befor joining, how is setting up a party you wish with the rules you want aggrogent and elitist?

The suggestion the OP has nor the ones i have stated do not punish any player. I think you just read the title and posted.

The Party Finder is not, nor should be used as Duty Finder, it is not meant for random players to join random parties for content as they see fit. It's for Party leaders and Party seekers to start/join Like minded groups for content. A player should not be forced to help someone with a clear if they set up a group to farm. You are free to ask if they don't mind helping you out, but if they say no don't force it.

What you are saying is to punish party leaders from making groups how they like. Not everyone likes to kick players out, so more tool helps with that. Also vote kicking is once every 4 hours, and there is a slippery slope with that as the ability to report vote dismiss abuse. People may not want to waste their vote dismiss on a player who should never have been there from the get go as it went against the rules of the party.

Everyone is selfish when it comes to mmo. Stop acting like you're mother Theresa.

Stop trying to defame Winterluna and the ff14 community, not everyone in the mmo community is selfish. My Fc leader is a epic example. Her name is Astrate, she is the least selfish person i met other then my boyfriend. 90% of the time she is helping the fc with stuf from crafting gear, gc trade ins , crafting leve trade ins, goes out of her way to help players with content and never asks for anything in return, just simply pay it forward. My boyfriend also goes out of the way to help people out.

So again stop trying to defame WinterLuna and the ff14 community over your own personal bad experience. At this point you're just harassing people for no reason out side of attention. There is nothing wrong with what WinterLuna or myself suggested, infact it actually helps new player to promote working together instead of forcing people to help them. I fully understand and mentioned that there two sides of the story, but forcing players to help you is BEYOND rude.

Also, with all due respect, don't use SAINT mother theresa name in vain, show some respect for the dead.
