Fixed for you.
Farm = experienced people who are able to clear easily and know the fight 100%
Kill = newbies with previous experience of mechanics or people with low amount of kills who still need to learn mechanics until fully understood
Practice: complete new people, experienced people who wish to help, or as specified in the pf training for certain phases.
What some people see, FARM aka free clear.

Yeah, you're getting the wrong idea. Maybe you should go back and read some of the other posts. The first one, at the very least.
The only part of the community this is against is the part that sneaks into farming parties to ninja clears.and i am against the OP's idea since it is so dead against the community
I for one couldn't care less if people are "filthy casuals" or not, as long as they know the fight they're signing up for.

I have to ask what is wrong with this? If you start your own PF group you set your own rules. So if somebody does not want first timers, then first timers should not force their way in. Everyone can start their own PF group with their own rules and it is only logical that the first timers should join learning parties.
The way our community supports cheating and carrying is mind-blowing.

This is why people are requesting for this option to PF. Simple communication doesn't ALWAYS work. Linking weapons/gear is one way but there can always be that "one guy" who doesn't have that. Linking achiviement is trouble. This issue is easily fixed with simple communication. No need for additional features really. I find many people are terrible communicators in groups. Excellent at complaining when something goes bad but terrible at initial leadership. Verify everyone has cleared before going in. If people lie then they lie, and you kick them out. Its easy to tell when someone is a first timer...
Friends list? What friends list? I don't have that many friends on my list and I don't like adding random people to it(If you are on my friends list, you mean something to me). Besides there is problems if we have to just rely on that, not all my friends can be online at the same time as I am or have the time when I do.This is a bad idea.
If you want to make a farm party. Use that Friends list thing. When you use the Party finder and people do really go. ADD them and next time your on and wanting to.. send tells and say hey I'm doing AS3 today your want to join. ... you know from say Turn 9 they are a good player. So ya now you do AS3 with them.
As for locking people out who haven't cleared .. Nope.. Don't want that to happen. It will just make it harder for people to get clears.
^ THIS SO MUCH. Or if you have the gils then I can carry you. j/kSo basically, you're telling me I have to use my friends list to form a party? This in itself proves there's a problem with party finder. Just because someone farms with me once doesn't mean they want to farm whenever I do.
Make it harder for people to get clears? Yes, if you're going to rudely join a farm party you shouldn't even be joining. If you want to clear then make your own clear party. Stop relying on other people.
And I'm gonna reply to this same way I did before.

Read the thread and then make your conclusion is their point. What the OP actually wants is for people to stop lying and trying to get cleared through content that they didn't earn the clear for. It's not filthy elitist and people who don't have clears aren't filthy casuals.
Also, the option that OP is suggesting is an *option*. Not mandatory "People who've never cleared can not use pf at all" like you would think from just reading the title; just another box to tick in the pf when making one.

OPTION!!!, what a joke. the moment this is implemented i'll open up PF and about 99% of the parties will have this ticked
the problem is a double edged sword
the reason the people lie and cheat there way into farming parties (not that i would condone this behavior) is
1) people want to be carried
2) people are too frustrated with DF because some "hardcore gamer" didn't get there pony/weapon in 1 try and abandons the party leaving the rest of the party with a 40 min wait
if the OP could come up with a suggestion that benefits both parties then i would be all for it

Benefits for the other party? Okay.
- Learning and clear parties would fill up a lot more because players can't use others farm parties for their clear.
- They are protected against making the 'mistake' of not reading somebody's party finder or misunderstanding the rules and getting themselves blacklisted when they don't meet the requirements.
- When they actually want to farm something themselves after their initial clear, they will be thankful.
- They have to actually learn the fight and put in effort instead of getting carried, meaning they will know the fight for future reference.
Also, the fact you only acknowledged that this would be an option when someone pointed it out to you proves you've barely read the thread, if at all. If you actually tried to understand it you'd see there's no reason this would be a bad idea other than not being able to sneak in for your precious clears.

It's not like 99% of the parties in PF don't have "farm" and/or "know the fight" and/or "no noobs pls" in their description now...I mean, those that are really forming for duties and are not advertisements or FATE groups. Idk about other servers, but I rarely see a "clear" party up there, and "practice" even less. Really don't feel like such an option would make any difference whatsoever, except maybe for actually saving some headache for those who do want to farm something and not get caught up in teaching and practicing.
