Block first timers from Party Finder!

Considering JP uses PF for learning and DF for farming, this will never happen.

Its an entirely different culture in JP/Asia as they actually make a conscious effort to be good at content rather than just get carried through it. I would love to use DF for farming due to quick queue times but unfortunately the lack of community and increase in "selfish-tendencies" forces people who are new to practice in DF and farmers to farm in PF/statics. I agree with the OP entirely as his idea doesn't filter out new players just liars.

Let me get this straight. You want a finder which was made for random parties to advance in the story and experience points to block new players from advancing in the story and experience points? Ilvl makes sure the gear is ok but the only way for a player to learn from experience is to "learn from experience".

Sure SE make it happen, just exclude all the new players so they spend more time queued in duty finder due to less people seeking because most veterans have the filter on, then the newbies have to resort to pre-making a group in shouts or party finder for an (essential part of the game)leveling and story progression, so veterans can farm(not essential but wanted)stuff with less stress.

It's not your job to carry people, but if SE likes money, this is a no-no.

I don't have a problem with this even though I don't use PF often. I do have one question though, how about someone running on an alt that will still give the new player bonus? With this in place they couldn't join the group even though they have done it.


Generally when I get in an instance on my alt I let them know I'm the new player but tell them not to worry it's an alt.

That's true, but it would only have to be cleared once for you to be able to join a farm. If you know the fight and have experience it shouldn't be too much trouble.

On topic:
The title is totally bait-y. After reading the op... I understand you but however the DF is heavily tied with the main story line. So it practically encourages new players to use it. Therefore, in my theory, if they did such a thing they'd probably have to re-work the main story line. At least in how to deliver the idea to the said new player to use party finder for each dungeon that ties with main scenario quest.

So IMO..if you wanna farm just use the party finder to find like minded people..that's what its there for :/
