Well people love to argue "there's so much to do in this game!".

So maybe once they gear up their 1 or 2 jobs they should do those other things.

The caps hurt the community as a whole already. Nothing bad would come from atleast increasing the cap. The way it is now is stupid. You can't even get 1 piece of gear per week because you're 45 tomes short.

Why should I basically be punished for rolling multiple jobs in a game that supposedly encourages you to do so.

Had to go away for a week? Sorry you're now a week behind for the rest of your play time in the current content because you didn't cap.

We see this thread each time we get new tomes. If nothing has been done before, I can't see anything happening soon either.

I once had this idea about the tomes: don't remove the cap but instead lower the price and make you able to buy more than one piece at the time.

For example, with 450 tomes I could get either 2 armor pieces (most likely chest and pants), 3 lesser armor pieces (head, pants and gloves), or 4 accessories. I'm not sure how good it would be, but you could gear up multiple jobs at time by sharing the gear you need, while still making your main job more required (like, you take 1 chest for your main, then a chest for your off class, head and gloves for main and pants for off class etc).

This is just an idea I thought anyway: I bet it would unbalance the crap out of the endgame players, but I still think that this idea could encourage players to also focus on jobs that they might want. I'm a tank but I'm slowly enjoying monk after a break but I already know for a certainty that I won't be able to use it on anything but roulettes due to the lack of gear that's currently on my tank.
