As someone with basically no lag I gotta say, the mudra system is really fun.

This isn't particularly saying they shouldn't fix it for people with lag, just saying that the mudra system itself, the way it exists, and as a mechanic is a fun idea, harmed by the poor state of the game netcode.

No, but it would be a better alternative than mudra-lag.

I don't think we need any more physical DPS classes with 1.5 second cast bars or ugly casting animations.

3 elements + 1mudra execution is already 4skills on the bar and people bearly use "freeze (useless).. or Doton (low dmg)" and all are about 4 anyway "suition, raiton, katon and fuma (but with lack of mudra lag fuma would be replaced by raiton I guess)

Casting skills would be ok but what should be unique about is that we could cast them while moving and not just standing... it would be far better then mudra lag and praying that server will not think of its own mudra way.

Interesting idea. Though I personally like the mudra system because it actually makes you feel like you are weaving the signs yourself. That's the whole point of it. But again, I do like the scrolls idea.
