    People leaving in Dzemael Darkhold

    Hello. Yesterday I was doing low level roulette to get my Bard a bit of XP and it selected Dzemael Darkhold. Got in, after 5 seconds two people immediately left. I was like ...... ok...... We got a new DPS while waiting on a tank. Then the healer decided to leave. All in all 5 people joined and immediately left. Without us walking 2 meters into the place. Then finally we got a full group and cleared the place. But what is it with the dungeon? Do people hate it?

    I sort of hate it (I don't leave dungeons like that, though, I suck it up)... I just don't like the aesthetic (unlike how I sort of "hate" Aurum Vale because that first room is brutal).

    It gives good EXP though, so I can't complain too much. Some people would really just rather take the penalty than do the dungeon. Oh well.

    Oh also to note. If I join in progress and there's only one DPS present (and I am playing as DPS) then I usually leave, too. There is no leaving penalty if the party is below 4 people, so.... yeah. If there isn't a tank there then it's usually just a bunch of sitting around waiting for one and... I'd rather not.

    Dzemael is annoying, the pulls are so irritating because you need to pull every trash mob back and no one ever waits for you to finish pulling mobs ><. I don't leave it but I really dislike that dungeon .

    This happens with a lot of dungeons in general, especially ones given via roulette. Most likely it was their umpteenth time in that particular dungeon and they just couldn't take it anymore. I've had it happen in other dungeons too.

    Usually I just suck it up and do it though. I'm getting the daily bonus EXP so might as well just tough it out. But I get why others wouldn't be as thrilled to do that.

    Rest assured I'm very sick of Tam-Tara Deepcroft and Haukke Manor. Always one of those two when I do leveling roulette. Every damn time... :'(

    Its a mixed bag, of new mechanic combo introduction.
    Aoes left and right, mixed ranged and melee mobs, debuffs, environmental hazards, sharp narrow corners, and probably the evilest mobs ever added to the game toads. That's just the trash.
    It introduces moving the boss mid fight while its active, and I may be mistaken but I am fairly certain it's the first time you encounter true run and gun.

    It is one of those it is fun until it is not dungeons.

    DD is the longest dungeon. Seriosuly, it takes like 30-40min...there's just so many pulls.

    them frogs suck frist time I got the knock back fell down and die and the last boss isn't my fav ether but if I do get that dungeon I still do it tho dd and av aren't my fav dungeons hate the frogs in both

    Personally i never leave the dungeon.It's good xp and besides i don't agree with constantly leaving roulette to get a dungeon you want.It is a long dungeon and thats why a lot of people leave it.Infact it's the main reason.Impatient players.
    As a tank that dungeon is annoying as hell but can be done easy with a team that has patience and lets the tank run this dungeon the way he chooses.

    The bosses are easy and they aren't what cause the issues.If you fail on the first boss then it's generally the tanks fault and they are ignoring the message about the crystal fading or not tanking the boss in the crystal area.Keep in mind boss and the party need to be on the spot for damage to be done.Some people make this mistake and have party on the spot but tryign to hit boss when he's outside the zone.

    I'll go into some detail why this dungeon is so irritating on tanks.

    The dungeon terrain and mob spawns and patrols are done horibbly.As a tank we need a lot of good positioning to make the run go smoothly.
    The cliff with the frogs is the best example.I pull the mobs back to not attract agro from the patrols down the cliff or the ones that come up the cliff.Generally the dps mess this up though as they stand near the edge of the cliff and ranged dps from there.This causes the patrols down below to agro them.They run into party and is generally 99% guaranteed wipe as too many mobs.

    The balloon mobs another great example.They are placed near exploding crystals.I'll try pull them away a bit so you can melee them without worrying about the crystal explosions.But generally on pull a dps will nuke the mob as i'm trying to move to a spot safe away and let the mob follow me.this causes dps to get agro and drag the tank into the crystals because the dps never run with the mob to you.
    Another example later on is the drakes.There's only 2 of them on a tight corner.You can't see the other patrols but they are around the corner.There are 2 issues with these drakes.When people attack the drakes from behind and stand open to the corner they pull the patrols on top.It can become a nightmare to tank all because the tight space and the large conal attacks the drakes have making it harder for tank to avoid them.

    If the dps let us tanks do our positioning in this dungeon things will go fine and no wipes.But if dps move around agroing extra patrols they make this a wipefest.
