I have no idea if this is the right area to post a thread like this, but here it goes.

There have been rumours abuzz since 3.0's release concerning a "new relic" weapon to eventually hit the expansion (including an infamous promise from Yoshi-P that those of us who slaved to complete our Zeta's before expansion would get some variety of "compensation"). So far, there's been no word on when this will happen or what kind of questing it will involve, only that it will be "easier," somehow, than the original.

I honestly almost forgot about it, but it was raised in conversation with my FC the other day, and a few of us agreed that we all, quite desperately, miss being able to customize and fine tune our fancy pants relics. So, I wanted to pose the question:


IF a new relic weapon is introduced, what is on your wishlist for that relic?

Responses can include anything. I'm curious about player theories that range all the way from lore and possible quests all the way down to the specifics of what they'll let us customize, what kind of weapon you want it to be (ie: curved or straight sword for PLD), and possible methods of upgrading said relic in the future.
