Unless DPS is crap, I don't think so. You'd have to take forever and have Thordan build his Limit Break gauge up to full. I'd love to see how much it would do though.

I think, like Lahabrea from 2.0 before him, Thordan isn't really meant to kill you unless you mess up. It's a battle with almost every floor mechanic from the CT and flashy lights (and screen shattering, because screen shatters are the best), but it's not really hard.
The Laha/Ige pair is meant more as a final boss, difficulty-wise since in their second portion they have at least two separate party-wide instant kills they can use repeatedly if you don't meet the checks, rather than just the one. They're also tighter checks. Basically, I'd compare it to the Ultima Weapon fight from 2.0. If you can beat Ultima, Lahabrea is for sleeping through.
Plus, Ige uses some pretty obnoxious abilities when she starts flying around in the first part of the battle.
