    Hello there! I apologise if the answer to this question is already featured in this topic, but I was wondering if someone could help me out here.

    Basically, freshie lvl60 mch here hoping to get good as I'm really enjoy it as a secondary. Been studying the rotations here and slowly getting the hang of them (even through the whole keeping an eye on DoTs and buffs is a world away from the upkeep ease I have on my drg main, causing me to tunnel vision to a worrying degree on the Cross Bar haha ;;; )

    I was practising in an extended fight this morning (A9 to be exact) and as I noticed that there were 2 mage DPS in my team I decided to use my Bishop Turret with the Hypercharge buff for the damage increase on the mages. Now, this might be a dumb question, but as I'm aware the Rook has more potency on single target like Refurbisher, is it right for me to change the Bishop over to Rook when the Hypercharge buff is over?
    Or does the extra potency for my end not really matter and it's okay to just keep Bishop out throughout that fight for when Hypercharge comes off cooldown and just move it about the arena for adds?

    Hey there, I think the best advice I got when i started to play mch was to think of your rotation as a 30 second chunk. You should refresh Hot shot and lead shot at the beginning of each 30 seconds blocks. Once you get this down, re-engaging your opener is pretty straight forward.

    1-30 Opener with EVERYTHING
    31-60 nothing too much
    61-90 Reload, reassemble, ricochet
    91-120 Hawk eye, blood for blood, rapid fire, wildfire
    121-150 Reload, reassemble, ricochet + Hyper charge
    161-180 Nothing much
    181-210 Hawk eye, blood for blood, rapid fire, wildfire + Raging strikes
    and so on


    As for promotion, it would depends, you had 2 mages (assuming they are a power house) bishop increase their dps AND the 2 healer's DPS too. Providing they were dpsing too ofc. but Rook, will increase the your and the other physical, AND the 2 tanks! in this situation, if it was me i would have done physical to help out the OT's DPS and the increase damage could help MT's aggro? and tanks have pretty respectable dps too.

    I don't know if anyone pointed this out, but when your Blood for Blood is off cool down (80 secs), you may consider holding it an extra 10 seconds to line it up with Hawk Eye (90 secs). that way you can keep both B4B and Hawk Eye in your Wild Wires. but make sure you use both of those buff before you refresh lead shot on the target.

    Bonus Tip:
    I opted for Feint rather than Quelling strikes on my 5th cross class skills because it's an instant cast buffed by gauss barrel. it's a filler move if i have to run out of an AOE and i don't have any procs.

    I use a macro to summon my bishop that way i can just throw it on my target w/o having to find a spot to place it. 1st line to summon it onto a target, if you weren't targeting anything, the 1st line is negated and it goes to your second macro line, what brings up the ground targeting cursor

    Advance Tips:
    Turret dancing is a thing. Promotion, you give out TP/MP at the cost of your Turret's auto attacks... YAY!!! But what if I tell you, if you work extra hard, you can still get the refresh and auto attacks?

    So, since Promotion is a oGCD, you can turn it on and off every 10 seconds. Give out TP/MP and 10 seconds later as soon as you can turn it off, do it. Cast a few shots and turn it back on, let promotion resets and turn it off (10 seconds is about 3 regen ticks). If you do this a few times, your healer/dps should have a little extra resource to make it to their Invigorate/Shroud of the Saint/Luminifurous Aether/Aether Flow.

    Also, its pretty great for hyper charging too!!! Since the Physical/Magical Vuln is 10 seconds and it get refreshed every time your Turret auto attacks. That's just happens to be promotion's cool down time, turn it off to get that Vuln status back up and then go back to give out TP/MP

    Hi guys ! First happy new year all
    I've been playing MCH since the release of heavensward, and following this toping a lot, but yesterday i've reached a hard conclusion : i'm a noob lmao. i though a was so so on my dps, but i realised i'm missing a big something because at ilevel 266 i can't get that freaking A12s dummy down ._. i'm following this set as bis, i get around 2160 dps on lvl 60 dummy (and i think that's already not enough on the numbers... i don't parse myself a lot, as i'm playing on PS4 so didn't hit me before as we never had problem downing A9/A10 and nobody ever complained about my dps).
    I recorded myself on said dummy, could you please help me on what i'm missing ? ;o;

    For dummy it is better to go with 5 ammo opener.

    That's what some are telling me (been asking to people of other static as well). I know also i missplace some reload and too much ogcd at a same time. Thanks still willing to get more tips

    5 ammo is OK but hypercharge should not be used before the start of the fight anymore, in that opener up there.

    You'll only get 6 enhanced shots instead of 7 which is a straight up DPS loss. The only way to get 7 enhanced shots is to use it after combat has started so that the first shot fires immediately - because it's quite tight to fit 7 shots in the 20 second duration.
