DOH how'd I miss that. I just thought it only affected the 3 shots

Myon is correct. It buffs the damage of Lead Shot and Hot Shot and you can pre-load the ammo before the boss pull or after a wipe while waiting for MP regen + buffs. AKA No real reason not to for the extra 50 potency
For those of you guys doing Diadem, please post any 210 gear you get here so I can look at building a better "BIS" list that maximizes the stat priority. I have seen some 4 stat 210 gear and what may have been a fake 5 stat gear that looks to be equal or better than some ESO or Savage counterparts.
This is what I got. It's almost the same stat budgetting, but there's a couple of other pieces that go over it. I don't think it's better than an upgraded eso due to the crit difference on top of accuracy loss, but I'm not entirely sure on how valuable SS and crit is for MCH due to rapid fire, reassemble and turret.
Friend got this necklace for example. It's definitely more stats into the budgettting compared to a gordian necklace

Our stat Priority (to my knowledge) DEX > Accuracy (to current cap) > Crit > Det >SkS. My thought process with this new gear is if we can meet accuracy caps and get more out of crit and det subbing in some of these 210 pieces, it could very well be worth it. The main armor pieces probably not as much but our jewelry it could be very much worth it.
You could definitely optimize our best in slot lineup a little bit further, if you were fortunate enough to get pieces rolled exactly right from the Diadem. I'd certainly wager there are upgrades in there if you're a hardcore minmaxer, just a matter of getting them to drop.
It also depends on if the drops are randomized in their stats or not. If they are not random then it will be much easier to figure out IE: Ring 1 has Dex Acc SkS but Ring 2 has Dex Crit Det.You could definitely optimize our best in slot lineup a little bit further, if you were fortunate enough to get pieces rolled exactly right from the Diadem. For instance Here are out current necklace options:
Dex - Acc - Crit - Det - SkS - Vit for the boxes
Here is the above image
ESO Neck: 47 Dex - 44 Acc - 30 SkS
Savage: 47 Dex - 30 Acc - 42 Det
Diadem: 47 Dex - 31 Acc - 25 Crit - 25 Det - 10 SkS
With Crit being our highest stat, the Diadem neck would beat out the Eso necklace easily, but compared to the Savage neck it is a close call. Would the 25 crit and 10 SkS gain be worth the loss of 17 Det? probably due to how well Crit scales with our wildfire burst window IF our skills crit.

Leveling MCH now to at 40, enjoying at way more than I thought I was going to. A few questions I couldn't find answer to:
1.) Does ammo effect every hit of AOE, or just 1 hit (or none I guess)?
2.) I get the openers, but what goes into the 2nd Wildfire since ammunition isn't back up? Just the other 90sec CDs and hope for the best with RNG?
3.) Is there a reason the raid opener listed isn't starting with 5 ammo from just using quick reloads as everyone is waiting for CDs? Kinda figure it'd be assumed like huton, but maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance!
Got anotehr one.

1) I believe it is every hit of the AoE. The only one that is just initial hit is Reassemble which is only the first target hit (for the crit).Leveling MCH now to at 40, enjoying at way more than I thought I was going to. A few questions I couldn't find answer to:

2) The second wildfire will be slightly weaker. you can delay your ammo use if you want, but it will naturally be lower due to no Raging Strikes + no guaranteed ammo. Every other Wildfire after the first will be weaker by default.
3) You can open with 5 ammo, but it just means you need to adjust your oGCD useage to accommodate. I personally felt that the 2 ammo opener is just smoother and sets up your Reload timings better during the fight. If you use 5 ammo, you are going to be reloading after either the first clean shot or the second Split Shot, changing when Reload comes up for the second big wildfire by ~5 seconds.
