Has anyone come up with a good BiS or has anyone announced accuracy caps yet? I know it is early, but you never know.

I'm just following my usual rule of avoiding sks at all costs, so crit/det > acc/crit > acc/det > crit/sks > det/sks > acc/sks, only choosing worse itemized gear if there's too much accuracy.

That said, even taking all the acc/crit and acc/det pieces for this tier, we are still under accuracy cap for sure (its not even enough for A8S), so I think we can safely ignore all the crit/sks pieces and meld accuracy as needed.

For Scripture tome gear, the chest and ring seem quite easily BIS, and no risk of getting an early drop from A9S and A10S in these early weeks that will replace it (chest is BIS, and you can wear 2 rings) - so that's an easy choice for a week 1+2 and week 3 purchase. I'm not in a hurry to save up tomes for our weapon, it's itemized pretty badly (det/sks urgh) so I'll let the other dps in my static get theirs first.

http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/VOGJ seems like a good candidate for BIS if you ask me. Will almost certainly be under accuracy cap (even though those are the best options already) so just swap out Det V for Acc V materia as needed once we know what the accuracy caps are.

The only question for me, is whether we should do the same thing as last tier and use the 270+260 Scripture ring at the same time. Our alexandrian one is det/sks so you're basically weighing 6 more dex vs inferior secondary stats, same dilemma as in Midas.

Not sure if this is any good indication but Ariyala's BiS solver does give me 260+270 scripture rings instead of two 270 rings without accounting for materia melds.

Hey fellow wrench heads!

I've been satisfied with my current anima ever since I got it a few weeks ago, but after rung the numbers on the new 3.4 gear I started to wonder. When I set up my anima stats I put sands into crit, det, and speed on a ratio of 3:2:1. This netted me a gun with the same crit and det as the augmented lore gun, but added some speed. I always felt that I was a little slow while I was using the lore so I liked the speed.

But now I've looked up the formulas for figuring out best in slot. Since det is weighed heavier than speed should I reset the stats to transfer the speed into det, or am I fine as is?

Seems there is no avoiding melding accuracy to reach cap in the new gear. What's worrying me if u completely avoid skill speed u end up with a very low number, not sure if it will have negative effect on dps. (Sub 400ss).

Oh by the way mch is king in a12s (if u are not a mana slave battery).

By the looks of things, your damage wasn't bad by any means. The only reason you're not hitting the silly big wildfires are because you didn't get many crits. And remember your WF is solo so no Dex bonus and no group utility boosts.

Could someone help me with a non-Savage BiS for MCH? This is the best i came up with so far , http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/W2X4 but im not sure if there would be any better things i could use.
(i did not use any crafted gear cause i have neither the money nor the crafters to get them :/ )
