Personally I just drop Quelling Strikes for Feint because I PvP occasionally and the slow comes in handy. There are no situations where Quelling is mandatory, unless the tank is undergeared or inexperienced - all of which are not your problem.

If you do not have a NIN in your party and tanks are opening on fights without tank stance (as they should be doing), quelling is mandatory. You will pull aggro with wildfire even against 210 potting tanks. Feint in PVP is fine, but as for PvE and Raiding, there is almost 0 reason not to use it as a pre pull skill.
Yes, I do run with a NIN. I suppose that is something I should be thankful for.
There are also awkward situations that crop up from time to time where you can squeeze in Feint but not a Drop GB + Weaponskill. Reason being Feint has an almost zero length startup animation while our 1,2,3 weaponskills have a built in delay (most obvious with Slug Shot). If you just fired off a weaponskill + OGCD and you know the Manipulator is say.. 0.2 seconds from changing phase, you have time to land Feint but not a weaponskill. I also like tossing it on the doll when I get quarantined with the tank too (they're susceptible to Slow).
Thanks for the info I may just go ahead and grab quelling within the coming days because I usually solo que. Also for the turret hyper charge I saw where it depended on what the dps composition was but is that generally a 8 man thing where you would use a bishop for that defense down if there are a bunch of casters and afterwards switch to rook for single target fights after the opener until either TP or MP is needed?
Just as an FYI, my sub for the game will be expiring and due to RL Stuff I shall not be renewing it. Who would like to take over the guide?
I think we're all grown up enough to maybe let it free edit as long as you have the link ? Maybe put some All right User on it to control, kind of moderators. I can propose to control if you come to this idea but i'm not good enough to take over totally(plus my english is often wrong ahah)
Question:
After I'm finished with Wildfire and Reload pops back up, should I wait for Wildfire's cooldown to end before using it or can I use it again?
I tried searching for this answer on the forums but couldn't find an answer. >w>()
In a standard fight, use reload on cooldown. This way it will line up with your third/fifth/seventh etc wild fire.
This is the opener I do just because I find it easy could someone tell me if its ok to use or should I just stop doing it right now and learn this one? lol
Thanks
