Lock and Load: The Reassembled Machinist Guide

I've been rather mixed. I'm in a position where I don't think I'll be doing Thordan or Savage anytime soon because of my work schedule not letting me get a static so I'm sure this gun will be useful but at the same time I don't like the look and I with the amount of effort going in and the stat currently being meh, I almost feel working on another job's weapon would be a little more useful to me. There's just this completionist part of me that wants to do everything for my machinist because that's my main and focus before I do anything with my other jobs. It's also why I use my weekly eso upgrade on accessories when it would probably be more useful on main gear for my other job.

Also, this is a little random to what people are talking about, but for those machinists that play on controller, any chance you can throw in a picture of your cross bars or list them? I'm still trying to get a comfortable bar set up for myself.

Edit: Is it possible to work on the 3rd step for my machinist while getting the 200 weapon for another job? can I have multiple quests going at once or abandon another job's once it gets the 200 weapon and keep the matts for the 3rd step so that i'm workin on that slowly for my machinist while gearing up other jobs?
