Its more about making sure you get everything in on time mixed with RNG crits. If crits don't completely suck, you should be hitting 7500+ easily on a dummy with no party or buffs. If you miss just one ability or think too long, you are going to miss that last GCD and you will get results similar to what you are right now.

alright I finally did a1 savage for the first time and on faust with 192 gear I pulled 1.1k. We wiped on the oppressors so we didn't finish, but I think the furthest we got was the 2nd jump and I parsed for 1k (we had an astro who gave A LOT of balances lol). My hot shot/lead application when adds arrive need work and maybe some timing issues, but I can work on that the more we run.

    edit: already have question answered.

    Hi there!

This guide really helped me getting started. I am currently raiding AS2 and having some difficulties adjusting to the fight in terms of TP Management and cooldown usage. Since AoE drains my TP relatively quickly - How do you handle the first couple of waves properly?

Also my Wildfire is kind of low. It hits training dummies with 6500 to 7100 at ilvl 203. I'm not using potions or food on those tries, but still it's way below what I should be doing. Besides skipping the potion part, I use the exact opening from the google doc. without any problems, triggering skills and abilities as soon as they will let me. Wildfire triggers 1-2 seconds after my third Slug Shot(my skill speed is 557 right now, in case that is helpfull ^_^). Is this how it is supposed to be? Because I'm inclined to blame my internet connection for not letting me activate skills fast enough. I really am triggering them as fast as the game will let me. Also I do have a terrible over abundance in Accuracy(661) that adds to the issue too, I guess. My question would be - when is Wildfire supposed to go off? Should it last longer than my third Slug Shot?

Another problem I found myself in is the Wildfire following the first one. What Skills should I keep before casting it? Following the guide I use Reload when ready, so until now I also never held back the other two 60 second cooldowns(Reassemble, Ricochet) either. When my second Wildfire is ready, I'm stuck with all the other 90 second Cooldowns, which makes it kind of... underwhelming and reliant on luck since I'm not guaranteeing any skillproccs. Is this the way to go, because on Wildfire 3 everything will be in line again(I keep my Hypercharge for it too)?

In general, unless the whole wave is dying in 10 seconds or something (like wave 3 for instance, where most major cooldowns get popped for the first time), you should focus on putting Lead Shot up on everything - and then refreshing it as needed. If the wave is going to be up for some time, best to get Lead Shot rolling first before spamming AoEs as it's a more efficient use of TP.

You want to play TP management in A2S by ear, since you're partly dependent on how much DPS your whole raid is putting out. If the wave is going to take a long time, then take it slow and focus on cycling Lead Shot first. If it's going quickly then you can hit the gas a bit more.

For cooldowns, off the top of my head..
Wave 3 is generally the best time to pop everything. It's the first big wave, Wave 1 and 2 are not worth worrying about since they're extremely easy
Wave 5 (2 big spiders) you'll have cooldowns up again (minus Raging Strikes)
Wave 7 (4 Jagd dolls) you have another big cooldown window with everything up, great time to DoT all 4 dolls with cooldown boosted Lead Shots
Wave 9, final use of cooldowns

yes. Your second wildfire is going to feel way more underwhelming compared to the first. If your timings are right then you should have rapid fire/quick reload up mainly and go from there.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFA1zzbwSwc. In case you have further questions of timings and what should go where. Someone already made a vivid guide to "what cd's should be up and the timings" in the earlier pages if you are curious.

Your other wildfire question sadly I can't answer :/. Sorry. Someone asked a page back from this if you haven't checked. Unless you can somehow gives us video footage (or go into vivid detail) it will be hard to answer that question besides what was already mentioned in the previous page.

    Hot Shot - Potion
    Lead Shot - Reload
    Split Shot - Wild Fire
Slug Shot - Quick Reload + Reassemble
Clean Shot - Rapid Fire + Ricochet
    Split Shot - Gauss Round
    Slug Shot - Head Graze
    Split Shot - Blank
    Clean Shot
Split Shot … -> my Wildfire goes off here, 1-2 seconds afterwards

My question was, if this is normal or if Wildfire is supposed to last one shot longer. Because I asumed connection issues might sabotage my Wildfire a bit by not allowing me that last skill, rendering the damage lower than it should be. On the video posted, it looks like it could be the case, but it's difficult for me to really tell =/.

Another reason for my Wildfire doing lower damage could be my stat distribution, since I'm running around with gear that has way more accuracy then I need for AS1 and AS2.

I did notice how ElasmoFan had similar issues, however he claimed that it could be related to changes he made to his skill bars or due to activation speed. That is definitely not the case with me. I can already do the entire rotation blindly, and could not go any quicker because the game won't let me. This is why I wished to know if everything is ok with with my Wildfire triggering where I marked it above.

@Myon88: That helped me quite a lot. Thanks, that's just what I was looking for! ^_^

So i was wondering, did anyone have anythough on Armageddon? I'm a bit a noob when it comes to stuffs building, so i can't figure out if the Gordian (CRIT 102 DET 68) is better than the Armageddon (DET 97, SS 102)

The Gordian gun is much better than the Armageddon. The amount you get out of the Crit/Det combination heavily outweighs what you get out of the Anima gun.

Actually I just did the math, even Heavensfire is better than the Anima weapon. Basically goes Gordian > Heavensfire > Anima > Ferdinand(upgrade).

Only reason I am doing gun for the relic quest is because they will likely let you customize stats in the future.

I can't even say I'm in it for the custom stats (as I can only dread what that might entail this time). I'm only doing it BECAUSE I skipped the original, thus have to start from square one here.

To be honest, I don't like the way the Armageddon looks at all, and I'm all but completely decided on skipping any and all future relics for the rest of however long I play this game.

It is entirely optional. I would only suggest doing it if you are someone who has to have the absolute BiS gear, assuming the new anima weapons let you customize stats in the future. MCH wise, the gun is inferior to Heavensfire from Thordan, which is much easier to obtain. The grind for these quests are so tedious and not fun and I can't recommend it to anyone unless they need that BiS.
