I think mostly because everything MCH related has been discussed to death - openers have been optimized to perfection, and our actual rotation isn't all that difficult.
Are we slated for more changes in 3.1? That would be exciting. I'm being greedy but I'd really like Reload to be 45 seconds instead of a 1 minute cooldown, it would sync up so much better with our 1:30 Wildfires.

I think all jobs are going to get some adjustments in 3.1. Some major, some minor. The balance checks we have gotten between 3.0 release and now have been critical ones that needed to be addressed like the GB/WM issue and some issues with DRK/AST. In terms of MCH, there is definitely some quality of life changes I like to see, but I think the job is in a pretty good spot right now. Most complaints I have would be nit picking like wanting to hide the GB aesthetic. Maybe get a Second Wind like ability if SE is nice.
i210 yayy
gonna test to see if stance dancing still worth it on some skills at this ilvl now
gear/ilvl/stats
no gb split shot - 851.57 average @ 13% crit rate (755 min 1285 max 802 median) @ 800~ samples
auto attack shot - 415.96 average @ 14% crit rate (367 min 625 max 389 median) @ 1100~ samples
gb split shot - 1117.01 average @ 14% crit rate (981 min 1673 max 1041 median) @ 400 samples
(for fun) rook turret - 434.44 average @ 15% crit rate ( 382 min 652 max 407 median) @ 900~ samples
using those averages and putting a 1.285x modifier for slug and 1.429x for clean (close enough? w)
gb split - 1117.0
no gb split+auto - 1267.5
13.47% gain
gb slug - 1435.4
no gb slug+auto - 1510.2
5.2% gain
gb clean - 1596.2
no gb clean+auto - 1632.9
2.29% gain
gb reloaded clean (1.571x) - 1754.8
no gb reloaded clean + auto - 1753.8
1 damage loss
conclusion? same as usual. this is with the ferdinand; so with the gordian musketoon (high dmg per auto+higher auto delay) you will have better auto numbers as well
additional modifiers will skew it towards gb skills though (bfb, he, rs, wildfire) so keep that in mind
tldr? don't do stance dancing unless you're 100% comfortable. the bulk of the increases are gonna be from fishing for double auto hits in the span of 1 no GB GCD, keep that in mind.

I am not a big fan of how MCH's foot armor looks on me. Thankfully its an item I did not need to buy. Not sure what color I want to make my body piece once I upgrade it.
Not much else to talk about at this point, might as well talk about glamour! >_>

Two questions:
1.) Is it not prudent to start pulls with 5 stacks of ammo and Reload off CD? Giving you 10 ammo to start with rather than 7.
2.) Looking at the priority system, it seems like you sit on Reload for 30 seconds to get the most out of having it up for Wildfire? Or am I reading it incorrectly?
Thanks for the responses.

Starting with 5 ammo is doable, it just adjusts how you use your QR and Reload in your opener and adjusting accordingly. I have gotten too used to a 2 ammo opener and using Reload after Lead that it just feels smoother to me (and IMO lines up better). Two questions:

As far as the sitting on reload goes, what stage are you talking about? The second Wildfire?
I'd assume he's referring to our even numbered Wildfires, since those will be 30 seconds out of sync with Reload if you're doing both of them on cooldown.
I've always just used Reload on cooldown and accepted that the even numbered Wildfires are going to be weaker as a result - I've not done the math or anything, it's just my feeling.

I have tried both ways and felt I get similar results. I guess it more depends on the fight, but in a dummy situation I usually wait for the 2nd Wildfire to line up with Reload.I'd assume he's referring to our even numbered Wildfires, since those will be 30 seconds out of sync with Reload if you're doing both of them on cooldown.
