OK question all your DPS nuts. When a boss like Ravana or Bismark's Carapice or The Manipulator goes untargetable, dropping even your Focus Target, do your DoTs continue to deal damage. I find that this is actually a very important question. ;-;

they still tick, but no damage is applied. If you know a 'jump' is about to occur, use Ruin or Broil instead of your dots. You can calculate the DPS of which is greater as a 'tick' occurs every 3 seconds. So Bio which does 40 potency every tick will equal a ruin after 2 ticks. If you know that you have at least 6+ seconds, use Bio. If you have less, use ruin at 80 potency etc. (I guess I didn't account for Broil there, but you get the idea I hope?)
Yeah I already do that. I typically just Bio and Broil spam for their durations (if 15 seconds). :c Those sort of mechanics really hurt meh dps. ;-;
The exception to the "Jump" rule I believe is Leviathan, correct me if I'm wrong.

Isgebind in Stone Vigil normal mode is vulnerable during the flying phases too. I heard that Twintania from turn 5 is also still vulnerable too. However I believe most of the primals and bosses are not affected by them. You should try that on your own - like, casting DoTs, taking note of their HP% and hope that something changes when they come back. Far from accurate, but still something.
I believe during said "Jump" Phase in the Primal Instances, that the Primals are technically under the Invulnerability status. That would be why the DoTs still tick but no damage is applied. If their DoTs and debuffs were reset between jumps then their buff stacks would leave too. Like if my Phlebotomize is at, say, 20s when I hit the primal, it jumps and leave the Targetable field for 12 seconds then returns, then my Phlebotomize DoT would be at 8s when it returned to the targetable filed. How ever it wouldn't have taken the missed 4 ticks of damage because of invulnerability during that sequence.
I tested it on Garuda HM during my Light Farming and, give or take some technical wording and programing jargon, that pretty much sums up the process in a nut shell. So by my observations the ticks still count but invulnerability prevents the damage.
Fun fact , if a limit break is over 80% cast (Give or take) when the "Jump" sequence happens, the damage still occurs as normal.
I don't know about anything else, but while farming Garuda EX ages ago, she's died right after she jumped into the air with only dots ticking quite a few times...
Can't say for certain it was the dots that killed her, but i don't remember her being low enough to die just as she jumped

I've seen quite a few different fights end mid-jump from DoTs. There's probably exceptions to that now, though.
(Ezri Teken'duis) the loldrg is not a mythical creature like chucacabra or sasquatch, it is very real
