I like how you're telling everyone to find another game. If we did that, there wouldn't be a Final Fantasy XIV. I feel like this game is in danger and all we need is for a new MMO that will change the lame formula this game has to jump ship. I'm a die hard FF fan and even I know this game is not worth my time.

Was gonna post this but ya beat me to it. Yeh..real great idea, everyone who is bored/unhappy and wants the game to be in a better spot, screw posting on the forums that the devs encourage us to do..just go play something else so the game can lose more subs...nice idea OP.

Everyone just gets bored of the same thing over and over. Unless your a die hard fan, your just not going to keep your full interest ever. Honestly I am craving to play another MMO but the only two that even catch my interest are Shin Megami Imagine and Wizadry Online and sadly neither of those are available in English anymore. Plus trust me, I played some games in all Jap, its doable, but annoying. xD

Overall, I do enjoy this game, but there really isn't to much to keep my interest either at the moment. I have no in person friends who are interested in playing, crafting is more for glamour than anything and thus has very little interest for me outside what I already leveled and other jobs...I have a hard time getting the interest to even level those past 50.

I've been saying that along the lines of "I hate BOTH ends of the table here" for quite some time. I always find myself shaking my head whenever I get stuck between the two ends of the table.

I already gave a suggestion to this in a previous thread. Why not have SE reopen one ffxiv 1.0 server... Have people join it and try to test out what would work and not there? And then turn that into a standalone mmo.. Maybe even the ff11 crew would join.

Well, reality kicks in, ffxiv 1.0 failed because it was incomplete and they had to shut it down. FFXIV: A Realm Reborn is the result from adjustments and what not to make FFXIV 1.0 better. However though, it would be neat idea if they were to make a patch where we go back in time and relive the 1.0 moments since I wasn't around when 1.0 happened.

I have a perfect example. Back when horse mount drops from primals were more rare, it gave everyone a carrot to chase. Even when the RNG sucked and you absolutely hated it, you still went back into those farm parties. When the drop rate became so high that I actually got them all, I felt empty. SE hands stuff out too fast and too easily. There isn't anything to chase. It needs more content that has you playing more and chasing items that won't get replaced in 2 months. I've played previous MMOs where a piece of gear had lasting value well into the end. This game junks gear as soon as the next patch comes out. Here's how 3.1 is gonna go; everyone will bum rush the content, be bored in a month and have 2 months of paying subs, wasted money, then go onto play other games. There's nothing that keeps you playing and I feel like a majority of people WANT to play this game for years but SE fails to deliver. We want to play cause it's an amazing game. It's a beautiful game with no depth. Sad.
