How Many Of You DO NOT Watch Videos Of Fights?

How many of you do not watch videos of others battles, before winning yourself?

I ask out of curiosity, wondered as to the reasons of others do, and to hear their own epic achievements.

Myself, I don't watch videos as I enjoy the "thrill of battle" (Warrior pun) and testing myself & my own creative thinking to figure out the mechanics and forming a strategy to defeat <Insert Boss Fight> in each encounter. It makes the game more difficult for me, which I enjoy and reminds me of a lot of "old school" favorites; in terms of difficulty in doing so. (example: beating contra shattered solider without dying, games like ninja gaiden / megaman / contra / darksouls franchises etc.)

My own favorite to date personally in 14, was when clearing Titan ex. for the first time way back when and the part where the bombs cover the arena. All died and pld+war hallowed/holmganged through > took off the last 2% for the win.
Shiva ex was pretty amazing to learn as well for the time.

Favorite non-clear, before that was same fight and I remember 1st time saw 5-way landslide "Titan you ass...." lol

personally i feel terrible if i dont watch a video before entering harder/extreme content, i don't like being a burden to my teammates but thats just me.
if i want the fun of learning a dungeon/trial/raid from scratch i'll play it on release day when everyone else is just as knowledgeable as i am
going into fractal continuum on the first few days of heavenswards release was one of the funnest dungeons to play with a full party of people who had no idea what was happening!

Depends on how old the content. If I'm in a progression static or if the content is less than a month old, I won't watch a video. I might discuss tactics with other players though depending on my mood.
For single player games....never.

Same here, but change "a month old" to "less than a week old.

I didn't watch any videos for Alexander normal because I felt the content was new enough when I did it that most videos/guides would be hastily thrown together messes. I read a text guide for A4 on Reddit and it entirely missed the Quarantine mechanism so I was surprised as heck.

Depends on the age of the content, if it's over a week old I'll watch the video if MTQ has one up. I don't want to be a hindrance to my team.
