I suggest that square-enix makes it free to switch platforms for members specially when they have been playing since the game came out to begin with. I know that you can play your same account on all the platforms but in order to do this you have to dump more and more money to purchase a new game copy just to do this. Like myself and plenty of others that have been playing FFXIV since the beginning we have already paid the 60 bucks when the game first came out and on top of that another 40 bucks when the expansion dropped and on top of that the 15 dollar subscription cost since the beginning and if we so happen to need to or would like to switch platforms we have to pay more money to do this. I've asked thousands of others on my stream about this topic and all agree that its a rip off to us the gamers having to give more and more money just to do simple tasks.

Not only that but the 100 bucks for both most of us have paid and now all these new members who want to play get a nice discount when they first purchase the game, they didn't contribute to anything and they get the deals while the people who started this game get nothing but spend more money. On top of all this the support help desk tells us were SOL when explaining this issue over the phone or via chat not to mention the emails don't get responded to. I really don't ask for much but times are hard for some people and not everyone can drop all this money all the time whenever and we still enjoy the little things like being able to play a game on whatever we want whenever we want. I would also like to add that I am a United States Marine and no I do not get paid handsomely and really not home that much to play video games but when I am home it be nice to not spend 100s of dollars and be able to play something to entertain my self and wind down.
