Except if someone tries to login from another location you get a notification and this issue wouldn't prevent them from logging in to your account after a few moments has passed anyway since I could just do the same and kick them off in that case. You call it "extra security" but it's really not adding any "extra security" at all.

Removing this error wouldn't increase or decrease account security.
