Solution for crafting red scripts.

I have no clue what you are talking about man. It literally takes no time to go out and farm mats.

Last night it took me 30 mins to create everything on the GC daily, this includes farming all HQ mats.

The only complaint I could see anyone having is that to be GREAT in crafting you have to level all crafts to 50 more or less.

All the stuff you are complaining about is very very small on the Give-A-Phuck scale imo.

Post the patch they did a while back, red scrips are fine. They take so little time to cap each week. I generally wait for an easy starred item like Birch Rods or Birch Fishing Rods and then gather all the mats and make all the items in about an hour. One hour a week is nothing. The only people I see whining are choosing to do things in a ways that are difficult for them, which I really don't get.

you're well on your way to becoming a grandmaster crafter ^^ I might suggest leveling weaver next to supplement your crafted gear (leatherworker can handle the other half), unless you're only going to gear culinarian with red scrips.

I started on Goldsmith so I didn't have to buy fishing tackles. I now tending to do my red scripts with Leather and blue with Cul for scrolls and books

Crafter blue scrips need a purpose... I haven't gotten any since getting my 7th book. The delineations don't work (see dozens of other threads), so there's no need to get them.

Now, if the blue scrip crafter gear desynthed into 60** mats, that'd be awesome!

I'm glad to hear you are getting on a bit better with the scrip system now and yeah I had similar wonderful conversions when I converted my whole blue scrip gear don't think I got a single tier 3 or 4 but it was a while ago so might be wrong. I've been getting lots of tier 4 and a few tier 3 from converting the Hallowed Chestnut accessories though!

You usually get Tire 4 material from converting Heavensward i90 and i100 (character level 54/55) gear (Holy Cedar Necklace, Dhamelskin Shoes, Holy Rainbow Apron, and so on.)

For me, it seems that the conversion rate for tier 4 materia is around 50%, which isn't bad at all considering the low cost of NQ gear from npc vendors. Even the tier 2 and 3 materia I get can be sold at a profit.
