I see two in the runner ups that were way better than the winner. The first female braided hairstyle and the mail with grey hair.

Looking at the male winner, I can't help but think how awesome that hair would look on a female.
I'm soooo grateful the first female runner up didn't win. So, so grateful.
I actually really like both winners. Much better than the ones I thought might win IMHO.
I hope I win a sweet scarf though.
Not that I don't think the current winners didn't deserve their wins, I'm sure they put alot of thought and time into their designs like the others, however the voting criteria was incomplete when the contest was announced and once it was added it was after the how to vote section meaning people would still be possibly unaware of only their last like in each catagory counting.
In my opinion SE should have put the voting criteria in the section on how to vote before telling us to vote by liking on the official forums, as well as making it clear that only your last like counts so if you want something other than what's on the tail end of the list to win either relike the entry you want to win most or only like one entry for each catagory.
OR SE could have done what makes sense and go by total number of likes and not this 'what was liked last' bullcrap as it takes into account the situation of if someone like multiple entries but isn't bothered about who wins and negates the unfair advantage of being the last entries. It's also the simplest to count and simplest to understand, just like what you like, no complications. The only downside to this is that it's easier to see what is absolutely winning without having to speculate, but this would be lessened by the fact that all votes count now rather than that arbitrary last.
Yes sure the entry with the most actual likes (in the female entries) is the one that I wanted to win, however it was primarily because out of all the entries I liked it was the one I felt would use the most resources, the fact that I liked it most and liked the art style had little to do with it. It just means that unless some of the runner-ups are brought into the game I'm just not going to change hairstyle which is no big loss. What is a big loss is what could have been if only SE had been clearer (read: made it more obvious to the people that just jump to the 'how do vote' section and leave to vote as soon as the knew where to go) with how the tallying process was to be done and urged people to think carefully.

This is the Beta forums all over again, mostly middle fingers and angry rhetorical questions. How about we applaud those who won cause the only reason they did win is because people actually voted for them. Even if they did vote for themselves that's only one out of thousands. So clap, be happy for the winners and hope we get another contest in the future. And no, this isn't a discussion because there's nothing to discuss. We have our winners, decided democratically.
I'm slightly annoyed that I cast my votes before SE bothered to inform us that only the last vote counted. I liked 2 of the entries, had I known this, I would had only liked the male runner-up hairstyle. Of course the last page hairs would win when this sort of rule is implemented and announced when a lot of people have already voted... I think the voting should be done again to see which hairstyle would actually and fairly win. This was in no way fair to the people who entered the contest, the real winner now probably lost because people were no informed about the rules properly.

i feel like it was a botched contest i meen the hair styles that won save the male hair suck there generick and plain looking and have no imagination the first runner up was way better than that the winner for females
And this is why they need a poll system.
I'm sorry, but these are public forums. This isn't your thread. You're not a community manager. We can discuss if we'd like to, and we are. It's no surprise we think the voting system was inherently flawed. Would you rather us all make a whole new thread just to discuss all this again?
People are free to express their displeasures if they want to, if you don't like it don't participate
congrats to the winners,
i'll probably wear the female one once and then switch back to something else, as for the male one, a shame the male ponytail runner up didn't win i liked the design of that but hey another boy band look on the mix of thousands
though one thing people are forgetting if they were highly voted they did say the runner ups may be added in later patches so heres hoping the 1st runner ups in 3.2
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun
