the word is it stops him from doing certain things, but we have yet to get him lower then 50% so not entirely sure
We've had him down to about 35-40 but never bothered breaking horns, if it impacts maybe the charging or something similar it may be worth keeping TV on the ol' action bar. But if it doesn't influence battle or drops I'm nixxing it.
Some of us have noticed that after breaking horns his dash's damage drops for like 25%, instead of 1 shotting mages most of the time, leaves them with like 600 hp or so if they get hit, but of course, if people pay attention no one should ever get hit by dashes, we "try" to break horns just to give a chance for the GLA to get "stable" hate, god knows the hate a few doomspike II, victimize II and maim get x.x

here is my action setup
AB 1 : Full Thrust, Heavy Thrust, Pierce, Twisting Vice, Moonrise II, Leg Sweep, Doomspike II, Skewer II, Chaos Thrust
AB 2 : Ferocity II, Raging Strike, Hawk's Eye, Bloodbath, Comrade in Arms II, Collusion, Diversion
AB 3 : Second Wind II, Cure II, Life Surge, Speed surge II, Invigorate II, Keen Flurry, Line of Fire
this is my everyday use, there are some change when it comes to Darkhold and Ifrit runs, which will be disclose later :P
yeah hehe well at least line of fire is useful now =DSome of us have noticed that after breaking horns his dash's damage drops for like 25%, instead of 1 shotting mages most of the time, leaves them with like 600 hp or so if they get hit, but of course, if people pay attention no one should ever get hit by dashes, we "try" to break horns just to give a chance for the GLA to get "stable" hate, god knows the hate a few doomspike II, victimize II and maim get x.x
I'm working on a LNC guide atm, but basically Chaos Thrust is more efficient at 2k TP up until around 2500+ TP, unless you have buffs. Doomspike II receives a greater proportionate boost from buffs -- unless the target is below 20%, in which case, Chaos Thrust all the way.
Could you go over your suggested gear & materia too? Possibly tiered (functional / solid / maxed out a.k.a. raid-drop stacked)? Having some trouble figuring out how to re-gear my LNC with crafted items & the materia available so far, just grabbed what I could. I liked what you did with your ARC guide, and hoped to see something similar for LNC.I'm working on a LNC guide atm, but basically Chaos Thrust is more efficient at 2k TP up until around 2500+ TP, unless you have buffs. personally im going with as much +attack + hp myself, some of my gear is a bit more for looks, I hate haubergeons but love the scale mail
Champions Lance + Heavens Fist IV
Cobalt Barbut + Manaflight IV
Mythril Choker
Tortoiseshell Scalemail + 2 + Savage Might IV
Mythril Wristlet X 2
Cobalt Vambrace (Red) + Heavens Fist IV
Peistskin Hunters Belt + Bloodthirst IV
Felt Trousers (red) + Bloodthirst IV
Cobalt Sollerets (red) + Bloodthirst IV
I dont have all of the materia but that is my plan, would be nice to see what others are going with and why.
