    Action Bar post-1.19

With the change to a couple of the skills, has your action bar been affected? Post and compare!

    Level 36
1: Full Thrust, Heavy Thrust, Feint, Pierce, Keen Flurry, Leg Sweep, Moonrise, Skewer II, Doomspike II, Cure

2: Absorb EVA, Comrade in Arms, Invigorate, Raise, Ferocity II, Bloodbath

3: Speed Surge, Protect, Shell, Shock Spikes (on bar 3 since they're macro'd)

Side note: My speed surge macro starts the timer in the player status bar, but doesn't actually cast it one me. Anyone else having this issue?

Your action bar should change all the time depending on what you're doing. I set mine up differently for soloing, farming, boss fights etc. For example who wants doomspikeII or chaos thrust wasting all that tp when you're farming karakul for fleeces or something?

People who hate those beady-eyed, more-rat-than-sheep, Snot Bubble of Impending Doom spouting abominations; and who want to eviscerate them in the harshest way possible.

    That's who!

1- Heavy Thrust, Pierce, Full Thrust, Feint, Ferocity II, Chaos Thrust, Doomspike II, Moonrise II, Twisting Vice, (Trammel II, Leg sweep, or Skewer II)

2- Speed Surge, Life Surge, Invigorate II, Comrade in Arms II, Keen Flurry, (Defensive abilities depending on what I fight, Defender, Obsess, Diversion, Featherfoot)

3- Reserved for cures and some buffs, Bloodbath, Cure II, Sacrifice II ect. or Stygian spikes and siphon mp if I expect a lengthy fight.

My action bar changes constantly with the exception of the first one. I can't wait for the memory system in 1.19a.

    Ifrit-killing bar: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/357...1009234745.jpg

Shit's situational, but the stuff that should never leave your bar is: all activated normal attacks, Ferocity II, Doomspike II, Chaos Thrust, Speed Surge II, and Invigorate II.

My traits are: Fleet of Foot, Prime Conditioning, Out of Sight, Transcendence, Axemanship, Bowmanship, Will to Power II.

Nice to see that LNC is the job of choice for damage in the Ifrit fight, makes a nice change from all that time we were a poor second choice to archers for the darkhold.

    1. Pierce / heavy trammel / Twisting Vice / Leg Sweep / Keen Flurry / Ferocity II / Raging Strike / Chaos Thrust / Skewer II
    2. Heavy Thrust / Second Wind / Cure II / Sacrifice II / Diversion / Collusion / Line of Fire / Raise
    3. Full Thrust / Speed Surge / Life Surge / Invigorate II / Comrade in Arms II / Doom Spike II

plan on picking up some more defensive skills for Ifirit but dont want to get to reliant on them for when jobs come.

and I agree with Murugan a Doomspike II devastates those stupid sheep into a fine mist of blood.

I have similar actions equipped as most people who have posted, the one curiosity I have since I haven't had much time to test, but has Chaos Thrust gotten enough of a boost to prove useful?

Moreso for Carraway if you don't mind answering, have you been using that as the "go-to" as opposed to DS II when fighting Ifrit? I pretty much spammed DS II most of the fight thusfar, but I had seen one of our other LNC whipping it out occasionally, is it well-used with Keen Flurry? Twisting Vice seems obviously moot on the fight, and since last night was popping my cherry I haven't had much chance to test out the next go-to WS.
