whether or not this general dissatisfaction results in unsubbed accounts and costs SE money (as opposed to just forum posts here and elsewhere) remains to be seen, but hopefully they're starting to realize that things staying exactly the same will eventually cost them part of the playerbase. up to them to decide if it matters or not.
Doesn't that just mean that asking them to do more open world content (which is exactly what they are doing) is pointless, because they will mess it up? What's the point of complaining about it if you already assume their solution isn't going to work?Thing is, given SE's record, theres a pretty high chance of it dying out within the first week or so (everything in golden saucer) because of being implemented poorly or having no real use outside glamour. Which then if it flops, we're back to 2 dungeons and void ark (CT, so most likely subpar gear not for main jobs)
I read this thread before a year ago.
Vertical progress, just tell me: What you can actually do with old dungeon drops? All they'd have to do is make every dungeon be a new area in the game after you completed it and give us stuff to do in it.
I mean come on people. All we do in dungeon instances is just run to each boss and fight trash in between. They put time and money to make it all look nice and intreasting only to never go back there unless its for a roulette. At this point they should just save on development cost and not bother making them look nice just a grey room with mobs.
You dont get anything worth, you cant even upgrade them to better stuff (Example: Dungeon drops darkmatter grade 1 and 2 of them you can upgrade to darkmatter grade 2 -> even running old dungeons you still have use of those drops)
Its not "losing appeal"...
Some players just finish things too fast!
Btw,many people in this thread are giving a lot of reasons to keep playing and stuffs to do. If OP don't want to follow these nice tips, unsub. You don't like this game.
I must say english is not my primary language, so if you find some grammatical or syntax error, please tell me and I will edit my post. Thank you!!

Huh what part of my post says anything about dungeon drops? We don't have to have dungeon drops to go to open world dungeons ofcorse wed need a reason to bother going there. But it doesn't necessarily need to be for gear. Like maybe for more indeph history on the place for one or treasure maps where you find them off mobs from that place that can only be used there. Heck I hate to even put this out there since the open world is pretty much catered to them already but probly have stuff that can be gathered.
Hey you know why there is never enough battle related end game stuff? Because they have to give crafters and gatherers something to do.
Besides most of the people who are suggesting stuff are just saying level more classes. What's the point in leveling something if you don't want to use it not to mention take the time to gear it. Also they may not wana unsub till next patch because their friends may want to do stuff with them.
Also one of the biggest problems right now is everything end game is pretty much the same thing as 2.0.

Use them for glamour, turn them in for company seals, use them for any other classes I level later.Vertical progress, just tell me: What you can actually do with old dungeon drops?
