WHM and BLM should get rid of their shield slots.

There were no one-handed weapons and shields for these jobs since Leviathan EX and I doubt we'll see them again.
Even if I have T5 BLM shield I can't even glamour it anymore because it requires one-handed cane to be equipped and all relevant weapons for these jobs are two-handed for more than a year.
I'm not sure why they still keep this system in 3.0 when rudimentary shield sub-class was removed with 1.20 patch:

On all classes both slots get countet for iLvl.

2 handed weapons counts for both slots.

T5 BLM shield

There is no T5 BLM shield and never was. BLM had to buy a shield with Rowena tokens, for which you had to do the weekly ex primal quest, which got patched into the game with 2.1 (?).

I don't see why we should just get rid of them, but what they should do is let WHM/BLM glamour 1 handed weapons on their 2 handed weapons so we can actually make use of the old stuff.

it's a second hand slot, not a shield slot (DoH and DoL use this slot with no shields)

What SE should do:
1. fill up the slot with the 2hand weapon icon (so players don't complain about empty slots)
2. bring out more shields and 1hand weapons for THM and CNJ

Yes, please! I would love it if they would add that. Shouldn't be too hard now they they are adding glamour for stuff which takes mulitple slots.

Also, it would be hard for SMN/SCH to do their casting animation with no hands free.
