while I would like to believe that might be so. too many people don't read which is why we have multiple threads for this alone. I highly doubt a dev response would stop more from being made. Not going to lie, I’d love the gear and the hair style for my female main and male alt… but I just wish that a dev would post to confirm one way or another if it’s going to happen in an event or be added to the mog shop.
Given the popularity and demand of the items, is it that hard to post something about it? At least if that happened, maybe we’d see an end to posts and threads about this which buries other threads which hold a bit more relevance now than past events do.
Now that we know the approximate date when patch 3.1 comes out (around Nov. 10th), and players are complaining about the late Date and even threaten to unsub till November, wouldn't it be a option for the Lightning Event to bypass the time?
To be honest, I too was thinking about taking a break till November, but the Event would prevent me from that step.
I don't want to sound as well as I would threaten SE. It's just a thought, and perhaps there are some other players out there who may think about it the same way.
Sorry for my bad english.
I doubt an event would keep people in game, but if that were the case then we have the Halloween event coming up sometime October (with a broom mount!).Now that we know the approximate date when patch 3.1 comes out (around Nov. 10th), and players are complaining about the late Date and even threaten to unsub till November, wouldn't it be a option for the Lightning Event to bypass the time?

Yeah but people take breaks til the next patch all the time due to getting burnt out from doing the same thing over-and-over and all the grinding. =w=Now that we know the approximate date when patch 3.1 comes out (around Nov. 10th), and players are complaining about the late Date and even threaten to unsub till November, wouldn't it be a option for the Lightning Event to bypass the time?

I do agree with both you and Colorful that they could at least put and event or two liven thing up, if but only a little. >w>
Um... I have the FFXIII-event gear, and I still think it's a lot different to compare 1.x with 2.x. One is a game that no longer exists. The other... still exists alongside its expansion. You can play 2.x without having played 1.x -- you can't play 3.x without having played 2.x.
But at least other players -- who HAVE seen/read that dev response -- could inform the new player of this post and/or link it =D and the threads would be a lot less long-lived ^^
And that changes how? The game doesn't "exist" (I'd say even then, 2.0 is a version upgrade of 1.0, just a very big one) but the items still do. So comparisons are just as valid. Same goes for 2.0 items like the Dalamud minion which is now locked out to people who buy Before Meteor right now. I wanted that item, but tough luck for me: I missed out. I'm not going to whine and make the billionth forum post begging SE.Um... I have the FFXIII-event gear, and I still think it's a lot different to compare 1.x with 2.x. You are arbitrary putting lines down when they are the same thing: Exclusive items that you got if you were playing at the time and did the requirement. If you didn't you missed out.
Tough luck, please stop acting like children who didn't get their candy.
I think Final Fantasy 13 was the worst, most tedious, un-fun game in the series. I was so disappointed by the on rails approach they did that it tarnished my opinion of Square Enix. What really disturbed me was the lack of control you had in combat which was a basic thing from the very first game.
In light of that I wouldn't mind if never saw this event again. I just pray that Square Enix learned something from Final Fantasy XIII and does not repeat the mistakes they made.
To be fair what he is saying for the most part is true if you had listened to what Yoshi P said. They rebuilt the game from the ground up so 2.0 is essentially a totally new game. While it does share simularities with 1.0, 1.0 is gone. not there anymore. kaput. And that changes how? what i see who act as children are those that demand people to stop ask you we live in a word where no harm in asking for stuff. people say there no stupid question. when some respond stop act like child when those he supporting is act like children then maybe he look to his own group before demand those are just asking for fair treat and those are get anger at them already have items.
