Lightning/Snow Event

Now that we know the approximate date when patch 3.1 comes out (around Nov. 10th), and players are complaining about the late Date and even threaten to unsub till November, wouldn't it be a option for the Lightning Event to bypass the time?
To be honest, I too was thinking about taking a break till November, but the Event would prevent me from that step.
I don't want to sound as well as I would threaten SE. It's just a thought, and perhaps there are some other players out there who may think about it the same way.

I doubt an event would keep people in game, but if that were the case then we have the Halloween event coming up sometime October (with a broom mount!).

Yeah but people take breaks til the next patch all the time due to getting burnt out from doing the same thing over-and-over and all the grinding. =w=
I do agree with both you and Colorful that they could at least put and event or two liven thing up, if but only a little. >w>
