Let me put it this way. You don't like exclusivity. Some people like exclusivity. Why is your view of "If I want it I get it even if others aren't happy" so much more important? Others play this game too, and there are two exclusivity systems already in place. One that makes one group happy, and another that makes the other happy. Veteran rewards are matched with how much you support FF and Exclusive Event Rewards are for those who supported the game during a certain time.

Examine why you don't want other people to have it for a moment, if it sums up to "I like it because I managed to do 20 minutes worth of effort, and you can't have that." then you're being selfish (Which most people consider a thing to not be). It's neither detrimental to you (Unless if exclusively owning items is so important to you that it'd cause stress if new players had it in which case, like seriously re-examine your personal values, because you're being massively selfish), is hard to put into the game (In game vendors each event time with the previous years items), nor is it a bad thing at all (Because since when it allowing new players to have the same items you got for free a bad thing?). Besides that, Veterans Rewards are the only acceptable "time exclusive"/"I supported the game for this long" thing imho, they're also a completely free bonus that comes with just owning that many days in game that any player can get for zero effort and they're all account wide. Heck, assuming you've played that long, you'd have both the Veteran rewards and the Event items.

You're are acting like Event items are 100% akin to Veteran Rewards and they're two very different things. One is an entirely free in game bonus that you get on all characters currently made or made in the future, the other is either stuck in "Never going to be available again" or "Pay additional fees for this item on one character".

You have my support, OP. Mostly I just want to be able to have the armors on my new characters that I created after the events. :/ Kinda sucks to have them but be unable to use them.

sheesh, either just throw them in the cash shop or just make the events a permanent part of the game, anything to stop these threads from popping up 1-2 times a day.

Only has my dragoon at high enough level to get the whole Snow set when the three chances for doing the event were finished. My Bard got all but the chest and my char was only level 15ish during the third run through, so only got the first piece.

I'd dearly love to see them on the store or have another event so I could complete the sets for my bard and myself.

Why not give out...
- legacy tattoos
- legacy chocobo
- the old goobbue mount
- that old horn headpiece
- the moonlet wait it's already in the cash shop
- all the collector's edition extras from 1.0 through HW
...everything to everyone then? Why even make any sort of timed/exclusive events at all? Just dump the items straight into the cash shop or an in-game vendor for everyone to be able to buy them, there's no need for "events" either, since they just take 20 minutes away from our lives for "hard work" that's basically a joke!

You're just the I'm entitled to have everything too so give it to me, concepts like timed or exclusive be damned group. You're not any better and you're not any more right.
And I'm sick of the few people who genuinely understand and accept the abovementioned concepts being lumped together with the snowflake-wannabes.
I'm also sick of seeing people cry about this specific event because they're entitled and/or want to be "special snowflakes" too.

We could have events that relate to SE but is from other games series.

I know some people may hate me for suggesting this but a Hyperdimension Nepturne event involving S-Sha would fit in due to the seires Dimension traveling theme.

She can even have some Roegadyn being her servents while using one of them as a chair.

Though I just want this event for S-sha's outfit since SE can make a Male version of the outfit as well if effort is put into it. The S-sha's outfit is designed using characteristics from Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series.

I would just like her hairstyle. Not that I would necessarily wear it, but I see others with it and I feel left out that I dont have the option to wear it. This makes me sad

It's nice to actually have some exclusive gear for once.
It's got that old concept of "You missed it? You missed it forever." feel to it that old MMOs had. Even though they brought it back twice more.

Some people might want the gear/hair for alts. (I know, why would someone want to alt when you can be everything on one character?)
