    How to fix this red scrip nightmare:

    Hello everyone.

    While I'm sure this isn't the first thread regarding this topic, there are a few things on my mind that I'd like to discuss with the community. I'll make this short and sweet. I'm going to preface this by apologizing for yet another thread on red scrips.

    So here goes.

    1)Double the weekly red scrip cap to 900

    2) Reduce the number of red crafting tokens for rare turn-ins from 1 to 0.

    3) Reduce the number of red crafting tokens for hidden turn ins from 3 to 1. This would make roundstones, mute feathers etc. etc. more valuable than the standard tokens, as they should be, they are more rare. Right now that is not the case, because nobody wants them.

    4) Increase the favor node spawn percentage to 100! The 5 minute timer is fine, but we need to be able to gather max mats in those precious 5 minutes.

    While I do believe that the current system is broken, I DO NOT believe that it as beyond repair. It's just going to take some serious nerfing to get right.

    The problem now is that mats just aren't flowing to the MB. I believe these changes would help a lot with this issue.

    In closing, I just want to say that I'm loving HW so far, but this red scrip system needs tuning, as everyone knows already.

    For this one, I think adding the ability to turn in the 3 items for 1 set of NQ crafting items would be better than lowering the requirement since they are HQ mats.

    I'm not sure if they will or not, but they absolutely need to.

    And while they're at it, how about making grade V crafting materia available so that we can properly meld our two star gear.

    Please gods no then I have to spend four more hours capping my gathering scrips weekly.

    Crafting IDK I don't do that so no opinion from me, but gathering is fine, it just takes time (while from my understanding red craft scrips takes time, mats, and money).

    I actually prefer the crafting red scripts since it can be done in 30 mins and no need to be ET clock slave

    They might... but not right now, maybe in a 1 or 2 big patch...
    Like they did for the previous ilevel 70 green stuff
    (I remember crafting my 50 silver brocade on monday... and the next day it fall to 8 SB... I cried so much)

    Yes but if you do this you still have the issue of the super rare hidden tokens being useless... because people would just trade them in.

    these mat is for 2 stars craft, them don't sell very well atm, mats are expensive so the craft is expensive.
    It certainly should be nerfed, i think it don't go well with the current economy of the game,
    few peoples can buy the final craft. (Big Crafter and Gatherer, Carry seller... Gold Buyer...)
    But a nerf would also be annoying to someone who is actualy farming, and say what i farmed for hours, now loose in value, it can be a pain in the ass too XD.
    Conclusion : if there no nerf, it will still hard to sell the final craft, if there a nerf some players will not be happy of the nerf.
    From the begining involve too much works to get the item rare and too much overpriced was not a good idea.
