Not like the ending support for it next month, you can't afford to put away some money every month to prepare for the future? If so how manage to pay your sub every month?

Oh goody, another pointless topic demanding that a significant feaction of the customers be dropped.

Aside from that, HW was obviously built with the current crop of low end PCs and the PS3 in mind as the lower end of the hardware spectrum. That's not going to change during the 3.X cycle, no amount of PC Master-race whining will change that. Come back in 2 years when 4.0 arrives, I doubt Ps3 will make that version's launch party.

DX11 support was released simultaneously with Heavensward. SE clearly has an interest in advancing the tech behind their game--as well they should, being one of the few, successful subscription-based MMOs on the market--and the PS3 is a significant hurdle in that pursuit.

Let's not stop at a new coat of paint. I could give a cat's ass if things return to 1.0 visual fidelity; there is so much more the development team could do if they didn't have to maneuver around with a decade-old ball and chain strapped to their junk.
