Ad I've said for any years now, the age of the "internet" celebrity only exists due to the misinformed, misguided, lazy, and/or desperate masses. It's the reason why talentless hacks can become renown singers and why neckbeards can make thousands of dollars without contributing anything meaningful to society.

Ah, I see! And I totally agree with your last sentence.

I watch it because I like to get his opinion on the new content that's been shown, it has nothing to do with laziness. I find him likeable so I watch his content as a form of entertainment. Simple as that. I watch MTQ for guides, but everything else is Mr. Happy and Ethys for lore.

What's the point of Q&A vids when you have so many guides on everything do-able in the game? If you want to help the community make visual guides not videos.

Definition of a celebrity: A state of being well-known.

You might not like the idea, but internet celebrity status is a real thing. Some Youtube channels have millions of subscribers, and generate a ton of ad revenue earning their owners surprisingly large paychecks. Some have even become millionaires.

Personally, I see no difference between a TV celebrity and an internet celeb. They're both well known and in the public eye, and they both work hard to get where they are. Any idiot with a computer can upload a Let's Play, but it's true entertainers which get the views and subscribers which make the channel last and propel them into celebrity status. If it was as easy as you claim it was, I think you would have jumped on the bandwagon long ago.
