Problem with aquiring red scrips

Ok I have looked at this website here and it says a certain node pops up at 5 am in the sea of clouds eorzea time: http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wi...es#Heavensward

I have my level 60 miner out use truth of the mountains and i wait between 5 am and 6 am the unspoiled node NEVER pops up and i never sense it.

I did the quest also already so what am i doing wrong?

You need the folklore first. Needs 99 blue tokens, each costing 50 blue scrips.

So I have to acquire blue scrips every time I want to get a tiny bit of red scrips? Most annoying system ever. I'm done with scrips period it's just not fun at this point.

Folklore unlocks nodes which happen to be used in red scrips turnins, also crafting mats.

if you get all 3 books for miner, you will have access to all legendary mining nodes across Eorzea. Permanently.

I think you only have to do it once, then you can get the folklore nodes in that zone forever. Each zone has it's own folklore nodes that need 99 blue scrip tokens to unlock though. It might be easier to buy the item you need until you can get the folklore unlocked.

EDIT: I was assuming you were going for crafted red scrips? if not you can get miner red scrips from azys lla adamantite ore at 11AM or 11PM without folklore

You don't need these gated, folklore nodes in order to get red scrips. The most common material for Red Scrips is Adamantite Ore (mining) and Chysahl Greens (Botany). These spawn on "normal" unspoiled nodes every 12 game hours.

You need to buy the Folklore Books (99 blue tokens each) to unlock the Legendary Nodes, then you'll be able to see them. You don't have to, though, since you can just use Adamantite Ores and Chysahl Greens, which are Unspoiled Nodes.

The blue scrip folklore books are a one-time expenditure.
For red scrips just get some Chyshal greens. I also use Adamantite when I'm pressed for time, but most of that goes to funding my glamour prism addiction.

I hate how the red script items are on timed nodes. If I want to cap red scripts, I have to decide between actually playing the game or stand around waiting for nodes to pop. Since there is a weekly cap, they should just be hidden items in regular level 60 nodes.
