Oh. okay. nothing wrong here.\
Edit: meh, joke doesn't apply anymore. this change was really needed for AoE spamming dungeons and long phase transitions. yeah, its easier when you're on normal bosses and striking dummies, but it doesn't at all fix the underwhelming nastrond combo.

They always do MINOR updates before Savage. They need to collect data during Savage to see how jobs *REALLY* need to be balanced. Job composition, how mechanics are handled, total DPS of all jobs, etc.I can't bring myself to play after the changes. They fixed one, maybe two minor complaints people had instead of adjusting the deal breaking issue for me. Wind up time and dropping eyes is still annoying, and I don't want to go into Savage fighting my class and the raid at the same time. Hoping they rethink this in 4.1
Actually loving the Sonic Thrust buff.
Being able to pull off nastrond properly in AoE situations is very nice. U don't really lose BoTD if the tank moves fast enough when just using AoE.
Now all we need is for Geirskogul to grant Dive Ready and BoTD to transform us into LoTD when we have 4 eyes stacked.
I haven't played yet, but yea this is big, both for maintaining our mechanic in AE situations also a nice emergency 10 seconds in 2 GCDs.
I am guessing the rule regarding AE hasn't change? 3 or more hittable mobs and we should be using our AE combo?
So how are we looking for BiS? So much gear that we can drop this high SS but should we be keeping it around our 3.0 rotation? Trying to figure out gear path
DRG aoe was just fine w/o BotD, just combo your two weapon skills and throw in a DFD. And even if you only get one GK from BotD the CD is so short it'll be ready for the next pull. Plus the CD for GK is pretty long that you'd mostly likely just get one, maybe two if your group aoe dps is slow.>.>

Having extended BotD timer simply because you gotta be a bag of rocks to ever have it fall off during active parts of the fight

I would do AoE combo 2-3x and let my BotD timer tick to around 13 sec, then pump it back up to 30 with a single rotation, then back to AoE rotation. It was fine, honestly.
Really want a link to that tweet man.I know that it only applies for the 5th combo. That's why in fflogs you tend to see either WT / FnC is the higher % which means in that fight, you proc the 5th WT / FnC more often. It's still a good DPS buff no matter what. Major fixes will probably come in 4.1 where it adjusts the LOTD mechanic since Yoshi himself tweeted that it does take too long to reach LOTD.
Did an EX Roulette run today and the ST changes made it way better in keeping stacks / able to use Nastrond in AOE pulls which results in a fast run. Not only that, there's this moment in the final boss where I have less than 6 seconds left of BOTD and charge up the gauge back with DS > ST. Really useful.
