DW the Weeping City piece is undeniably superior. Just the Det component alone will exceed the extra 10 Str given by the lore 240. The tricky part about the Yafemi piece is getting it to work with your build so you don't really pocket all of the extra stat-weight gains.
As for A7S, because of my terribad latency, I actually cannot reliably get the 8th GCD in so I usually just save BfB for the occasion. The way my group does it is DRG only takes very first purple cage of 1st set, all purples in 2nd set and we clear before 3rd set (but I usually take 3rd too). While saving BfB is a raid DPS loss, it ensures I get consistency with the cage.

Hmm can you explain what you mean by this, as I don't quite understand what you're saying. Also in my group I do not do any jails as the NIN in my group handles the second and the WAR gets the other jails, so I usually use everything off cooldown so long as I am on the boss.

Example would be you cannot simply just use the Yafemi piece because it would put you below the Acc cap for A8S and <600SKS thus forcing you to convert your Det melds to Acc/SKS. e.g. you may have to use the less aggressive Midan Bracelet vs the Lore Bracelet. So what I mean is, even though the Yafemi is 19 effective Str better than the Lore one, you have to compensate elsewhere to make it work so thus you don't actually improve by 19 effective Str, the realistic gain is something like 6-8.
