Clean everything before any nerf is my goal. No matter the time needed to reach the last hp and beat it.

It's not always back. I'm trying to think of the exact time. I believe it's if we see tank/healer jails first, my Jump comes up just as the Zoomdoom before the second set in the first set of jails pops. Yes. That. Seen here. I did, admittedly, miss a Jump in the middle there, though. I tend to favor not using Jump on the Sturm because it dies before the boss is back, anyway, so all I'm doing is wasting a CD I can use asap when the boss is back. I don't think it's a DPS loss at all - especially when it's 260 compared to either a 360 or 290 skill being missed. Shrug.

Two things: seems plausible even if it's not proven, because the scaling of stats that are 354 at level 60 are actually at a base of 858, so 22 of something at level 50 (341) ~= 55 at level 60 (858). Of course, one of the points where SE has made this difficult is that there's mysterious rounding magic behind everything anyway. With all the talk of accuracy, I thought it might be appropriate to post some testing I've done on the subject.

Other thing: Maybe not what you want to hear after doing thousands and thousands of swings, but the CI is still disappointing at n=3000. So for example, 94.5% / 3000 swings means there is a 5% chance it is outside the range 93.68% to 95.32%.
One more thing: no seriously, good work.

I'm thinking it's either 595/699 or 596/700. There's been a reported miss at 698. Myself and Hakmatic have not missed thus far at 699.With all the talk of accuracy, I thought it might be appropriate to post some testing I've done on the subject.

Feel free to use any of the information provided. Don't mind the ACC @ i160 part as I was trying to find a pattern between accuracy and calculated ilvl of content to see if there was a way to predict accuracy requirements for future content.

I've heard that magic users can get away with as little as 593 accuracy, so calculated Frontal should be 697.
Edit: Thank you for your hard work. Dervy with greatly appreciate this for healer DPS weights. Mind if he uses your works and references it, so long he links the source and gives you credit?

For Healer/Caster there is from my side confirmed no misses @ 594, blm forum stated it at 593, wouldn't rely to much on exact numbers, prob settle it down to 700 to be safe.I'm thinking it's either 595/699 or 596/700. There's been a reported miss at 698. Myself and Hakmatic have not missed thus far at 699.

Thank you very much for the input. I would have liked to have 10k + hits for each range for more accurate results, but @ various 3k rounds it plateaued within the same range and within the estimated range for Front/Flank/Rear. I hope it is close enough to make the information useable. (because I would be lucky to run 10 hours of AA without getting DC'd at some point lol). Two things: seems plausible even if it's not proven, because the scaling of stats that are 354 at level 60 are actually at a base of 858, so 22 of something at level 50 (341) ~= 55 at level 60 (858). Absolutely he can use it. More important than the work I did is to verify if it works, I think that would definitely help with that.I'm thinking it's either 595/699 or 596/700. There's been a reported miss at 698. Myself and Hakmatic have not missed thus far at 699.

I'll spend some time later in the week and try to replicate your results with 10k+ hits.

Hey guys, I have a question regarding A7S.
When we skip the second set of cages before the first ball phase, my Blood for Blood comes back about 10~ seconds before the third set's bomb spawns.
Right now I am saving the Blood for Blood until the bomb spawns so that I know if there will be the melee cage or not. If there will be, I save it for the cage dps check, otherwise I use it. But in this case the Blood for Blood is a bit wasted since the boss will fly away when I still have it up with around 10 seconds left.
So the question is: can a Dragoon reliably kill the add in the melee cage without using Blood for Blood (and possibly without Internal Release as well) and just with oGCDs such as Jump and Leg Sweep, or is it too risky if I happen to have bad RNG such as no crits?
I am iLvl 240 with 240 weapon, 946 crit, 497 det, 786 skill speed.
I have only ever used B4B in a jail one time and it was on the last jail set in my group's kill last week. I used it because I had no ogcds to use that I normally have and didn't wanna die alone.
I usually kill it using just PS+Jump, Leg Sweep, Mercy Stroke, and Geirskogul. If it's the second jail in the first set (because we don't skip it yet), I have DFD for it, too. You shouldn't need to hold B4B for the Jail, basically. I also assume you must have a MNK in your group and that's the reason you're doing the second set of Jails. Because, otherwise, it should be the NIN's responsibility, anyway, unless your NIN is beating you in DPS.
I see, thanks. Do you apply the Chaos Thrust combo on the add as well? Or are you just using HT -> double TTT combo on it?
We have a Ninja by the way, we just take turns on who will do the second melee cage since it's a pretty big DPS loss for both of us.
