Take note that I'm currently extremely broke and can't/wont be able afford to penta meld, or get much materia outside the free ones you can get.
The last time I tested out my self I pushed around 1440dps on the SephEX SSS, clearing with like 10/12 seconds left. Though I have pulled more around 1500+ on regular dummies.

This may sound a little harsh but, why did you get crafted gear made if you can't afford to meld it? The benefit it provides is largely going to be defeated by leaving slots open on it. I highly recommend you level your beast tribes asap if you haven't already or can't afford materia on the market board (prices are falling daily on my server).

Beyond that, get your midan story neck and your lore ring this week to get rid of those 200 pieces. This will leave you bereft of accuracy, so you're going to have to eat food if you wanna do seph/savage. If you don't wanna do that, go run void ark twice and get the farthings to upgrade those 200 accessories. That's a 20 ilvl jump for about an hours worth of work.

i Dunno the accuracy cap for a8s so went baked pipira to be safe but i would definately use steamed staff on every over fight

You can 100% not call this BiS without using accuracy melds...
You are using the lore chest just for the accuracy which is terrible compared to the Midan version.

Other guys have already "solved" for the assumed accuracy cap, solving for all melding combinations. Just go back a couple of pages.

For the Feast, what is the best way to burst? The way I see it, there's 2 options:

Precast your buffs (BL,B4B, IR, BOTD) open with spineshatter > HT > TTT combo. This allows you to weave damage oGCDs(not sure best order), while making sure full thrust is under Life Surge. This seems preferential to me because in all the streams I watch, the target will die faster (gives the enemy healer less time to react if they're chain stunned or slept). But your initiation will be telegraphed, and you will have less sustained damage to mop up the remaining targets who usually flee.

Or alternatively open with spineshatter > HT > chaos thrust combo and begin by immediately double weaving your buffs (BL, B4b etc.) You want to apply Impulse rush before chaos thrust so that the positional requirement is nullified and end up using life surge on your 4th combo. You will have maximum uptime on your buffs, but your burst will be slightly lower (take 5 gcds instead of 4).

It's ok man, I think everyone would like to know. It's just not as clear cut this time I suspect, with us not knowing the exact accuracy caps yet and the addition of melding.

Out of curiosity Tyra, is the difference between some of the top weighted sets just a piece of materia or two? Or is it actual gear pieces being swapped around?

Any advice for a lvl 53 dragoon in the HW starter armor on the quest ' keeping the flame alive' where you save Raubahn from the Crystal Braves? Died twice on the final encounter with Ilberd, Yuyuhase and Laurentius with lvl ? and 1 or 2 lvl 51 mobs. I keep getting killed by Ilberd while trying to kill the archer and conjurer and leaving the other 2 lvl ? for Alphinaud and Yugiri...

so high SS in 3.2 is good? I have reached 1026crit 427det 570 SS 691 ACC I COULD add more SS which I need and I still haven't upgraded my Gordian Savage gloves to Midas/Lore yet I'm really confused I can clear A6S and haven't tried a7s please help
