Let me get one thing straight, what is the reasoning behind what to meld when it comes to choose between determination and critical hit rate? Personal preference, or is there something else I should probably know? Because were it for me, I'd just stack determination (constant "sure" damage vs random damage spike) - but considering I'm seeing crit builds everywhere I feel like I'm missing something. Sorry if it's a noob question.

If I recall correctly with 3.0 they changed how Determination affects damage, so the benefit of the constant damage becomes slightly less than the benefit of the random critical hits that will occur. Basically the increase in steady damage is outweighed by the random spiked critical damage due to how they reworked Determination at 3.0 launch.

For what I know you cant overmeld(pentameld) blue gear, just the crafted 220 gear, or im wrong?

Ahh my bad then, i thought I couldn't do it because you have to be level 60 crafter or something. Sad days...
