    I hit 60 on my first 60 this weekend, and got Geirskogul a few days after, but its tough weaving geir through a rotation you're used to, so i only use it when BotD is over 23 seconds duration. Only I sometimes lose BotD at raid bosses due to phases or mechanics where you temporarily can't hit the boss, like The big fish in Void Ark, where it lasts so long my Blood runs out and its on cd, so I lose a lot of dps. Anyone got tips for that?

    You can hold geirskogul or botd refresh if you know such thing is going to happen soon.

    So my group is struggling in add phase of brawler atm. I've been using Full thrust combos to kill the alpha orbs, but I'm wondering if that's the best use of my GCDs, or if I can't squeeze out a bit more burst on these things to help cover other people falling behind. What have you guys been doing?

    My biggest tip is this.

    There are 5 sets of Alpha Orbs in that phase. You can use any and all 60s cooldowns, BEFORE the 2nd set of Orbs. If you use any 60s cooldowns after the 2nd set of Alpha Orbs, they will not be up for the opener of Swindler.

    The only thing you can do, during that phase, is x2 jumps/ls, 1 ir/ps/botd.

    There's nothing else you can do, other than TTT4 and GK spam on the orbs and get lucky with Orb Spawns.

    Having said that... throw up cheeky Phlebotomize and/or CT on Betas and pad damage. Use Betas to keep BOTD up.

    Haha yea, I do this on the Betas and occasionally bombs in a5s if the opportunity presents itself. Ok, that's what I thought though, not much more I can do on my end. Other people have to pick up their own slack it seems.

    TTT4 potency= (150(TT) +200(VT) +360(FT) +290(4º)) * 1.15 (HT) = 1150 TTT4 potency
    IDC4 potency= (180(ID) +220(D) +(250(CT) +290(4º) *1.1(piercing debuff))) * 1.15 (HT) = 1143 IDC4 potency

    I can forget something, but just 1 tick of Chaos Thrust and IDC4 is better than TTT4 and I'm ignoring auto attacks with Disembowel too, then I think that IDC4 on Alpha Orbs could be better than TTT4.

    I have been doing TTT4 combo, but I did the maths and it looks pretty weird, I mean IDC4 better than TTT4 for low HP enemies.

    ((250+290*1.1)+180+220)*1.15 = 1114.35. That's 2 ticks.

    You're never going to get more than 6 GCDs on an Orb. If it takes 6 GCDs to kill one of those Alpha Orbs, your group does not have the DPS to do the fight. The Orbs should always be dead at most, after your 4th, as there's 4 DPS, 1 SCH and 2 Tanks in the room who should/can attack.

    I think you are wrong here.
    Chaos Thrust and 4º do +10% damage BOTH, i mean, If you do
    (250+290*1.1) You are only increasing 4º, not Chaos Thrust hit.

    (250+290)*1.1 = 594
    (594 + 180 + 220)*1.15=1143.
