What is the current Skill Speed caps, I have around 750+ I know that 3.0 SS cap was 652, I wasnt sure if that was still relevant since I am i219 now. >?
Does anyone have an example of BIS for Crit Det Acc and SS, just wondering what the best ratio is here, mine is currently STR 1150 Acc 568 Crit 867 Det 542 and SS 745, i am only DPSing around 1330 now, and that seems very low for i219 DRG? What do you all think???
where that 100 extra ss come from? and 568 acc can't even make A1S acc cap
current patch for Drg, before A8S clear, stats shud reach 690~700 acc, 900+ crit, around 500 det and 600-640 ss, always fulfil the acc and ss then pour in as much crit and det as u can
THIS, this is what I was looking for, VERY INFORMATIVE, I will start implementing what you suggest and comment back what I find %)
Here is about as close as you'll get:
Higher skill speed starts throwing off botd cycles (and likely exasperates CT clipping). With that in mind you really don't want to go too much over the 650 range for skill speed. You'll also want around 100 more accuracy for midas savage. Your other stats are acceptable. All of the weighted BiS sets at around the projected 720 accuracy are all roughly the same. 600 DET, 600 SS, 1030CRT, tbh.
As for the sets for the lower accuracy requirements, I think it would be best to solve it for the highest accuracy requirement, then "lock" the melds into the "BiS items", when solving for the accuracy tier below.
That way you won't end up with something dumb, like two different meld combinations for 1 piece of equipment, for two different accuracy requirements.
And yes, your dps # seems a bit low for that item level. I'm going to go out on a limb and say at 1330 your rotation is likely OK, it's just gonna be managing all your jumps and oGCDs a bit better. Should be able to sustain 1600+ for 3 mins.
There isn't really a soft-cap on SS, where you become utterly useless. It's just a recommendation of 590 - > 654 SS to perform a perfect string of GCDs without clipping.
The bare minimum SS is approximately 540, taking into consideration animation locks, to perform the basic GCD rotation.
579 is approximately the bare minimum SS required to perform an x2 GK in BFB
654 is the soft cap, where you'll start gaining diminishing returns on 1 clean BOTD per 20 SS.
719 is the cap where you can only perform maximum 3 clean BOTD cycles, before you clip your GCD.
At 720+ SS, you'll need to either delay BOTD application into the next combo, or purposefully use GK, missing out on a 4th, but you can use BOTD 1 GCD earlier.

You guys are GREAT! Great Community Great Feedback!!!!!!
According to dervy: 690ish if you move BotD before IR in the opener, as it cuts down on the loss of cycles you can complete. Beyond that Thendiel showed that you didn't reach another appropriate window for skillspeed until 850+ (900 to be comfortable with timing) which would allow 3.5 gierskoguls per minute instead of the standard 3.
Edit: Tyra summarized it quite nicely.

So I'm currently very very lost on what to upgrade. I decided to switch mains to DRG after maining BLM since HW dropped, so my DRG was "decked" out in mostly full i210 left side ESO and i200 ESO right side. Needless to say it was exactly the best. Since I switched I have been clamoring and grasping to hit a high enough amount of ACC, and for now I finally got my SKS below 700, at i216.
This is currently what I'm working with, the two eso acc's are both i200 sadly.

Take note that I'm currently extremely broke and can't/wont be able afford to penta meld, or get much materia outside the free ones you can get.
The last time I tested out my self I pushed around 1440dps on the SephEX SSS, clearing with like 10/12 seconds left. Though I have pulled more around 1500+ on regular dummies.
