Why do you keep gearing up? I got my DRG to around 219? maybe 220? And having difficulty doing any more lore farming, as the last time i felt like something really increased my dmg, was when I went from Brionac to Partisan....

Doing Nidhogg EX requires i220 and you benefit from being above that. This fight is my current reason for gearing (I have zero interest in Alexander despite enjoying FCoB progression a great deal) up.

You know, with 600SS, maybe lower, you can now double weave with a potion. It's absolutely ridiculous.

There might be an opportunity to completely rework the opener.

Your food is pre-heavensward, better to go Baked Pipira Pira. While on the topic of food, remember that you can use food to bridge acc gap. Urchin Loaf gives up to 40 acc.

If you want to compare yourself with other dragoons use www.fflogs.com. On this site you can see what the avg dps is for you class per turn. #s can be inflated by comp & gear, but it gives a baseline.

Your biggest gear upgrade is your weapon, always upgrade first. 1WD=12 str=53 crit. Upgrade weapon then find way to make accuracy cap.

For every fight: "Uptime is the highest dps" The more you're on the boss the higher the dps. Always keep HT up, DoTs ticking, and BotD up, and you will be fine. The smallest part of your dps (but what also separates the good from the great) is OGCD management... that comes later

I have a question regarding hitting 3 GKs per minute. For some reason I keep end up losing BoTD half a second before I am able to refresh it if I use it during the 4th combo.

HT - ID - [BOTD] - DI - CT - 4TH - PH - TT - VP - FT - [GK] - 4TH

HT - ||| ID - DI - CT - 4TH - PH ||| - TT - VP - FT - 4TH - [GK] (if I use GK here I lose blood at the *)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I could up the anima skillspeed bonus to compensate (it would take roughly 40 points to get me to 2.39 GCD) or I could skip the PH in combo 3.
