So to space out of the dramas I was just flying around thinking what will be the "PERFECT" paladin if SE decided to rework the class entirely. Just to get out a little of this PALADIN dark age we are going trough.

now I don't have a fully planned class with mathematical numbers just some fun Ideas that will make the class fun.

AGGRESSIVE TOWER
so the concept of aggressive tower is simple but also kinda works like paladin works now but they have this 2 stances that will allow paladins to Absorb damage taken the when switched to second stance that it liberate this staked damage as a burst damage on a set of abilities that will be either AOE or single target or AOE DOT magic attack like a bubble of burning light or something. this 2 stances are separated from SHIELD/SWORD oath, can be stacked withe the other 2 stances and are OGC.

every time the "ABSORBING" stance it's up it will suck the mp out of the pld, so when it's up you job is to try and maintain as much mp as possible (it will drain really fast). after you absorb the dmg you will only have a few second (30-25) to free this dmg back to the enemy.

BUT!!! if you choose to not free this absorbed dmg on that period of (30-25) your vulnerability or defense over all (magical/physical) will be really hight up with a small % of the dmg absorb. (probably a little broken op wise )

this way it can make up the less dmg but increasing in in form of BURST DMG on small periods of time.


SUPPORT TOWER

this type of tanks might work similar to the aggressive tower BUT instead of offensive attacks it will free this energy as party buffs in the for of WAR CRIES that will consume our MP in each blow but will give some sweet buffs to the party on the % of dmg absorbed.


this is just silly ideas of what a PALADIN could be idk what will be your crazy ideas?
