Is there a reason you don't want us having fun with chocobos?

It takes years to level a Chocobo too and I do mean years. Been here since 2.0 and my little guy is like level 3...
and I had him a lot of the times in 3.0 grind.
I wish we could level them with while FATE grinding with other people that's what killing him to level.

EDIT: I'd also like to mention that during the grind to 60, I had my Chocobo out with me in EVERY quest that I done in the HW expac
and he was halfway to his next level then at the tail end he finally level'd.
I am not sure how anyone level's them to max...

A lot of training in FC stables and taking them spiritbonding/farming.

Challenge log = 15% of a level at all levels. Kill mobs that are at the most 10 levels below you. Synched fates count. You can also level an alt with clan marks, it makes it easy to do the rank 3 marks if you are below level 55.
Training at the stables = 1% of a level at all levels (could have sworn it was 1.5% during the first few levels). Just stable him, feed him a Krakka Root and take him out. One hour cooldown. Other people can train it a total of once per hour as well, so make a deal with a fc member.

Train when you log in, when you log out and once or twice in between, and combined with the challenge log you get a level every fortnight.

My alt's chocobo is rank 6 and I have not even tried.
My alt is still level 50.

For you I would recommend doing the weekly challenge log and feeding it krakka/whatever is your cheapest exp food on Goblin server when stabled provided you have access to a stable.
Also you could make a PF for a combination Chocobo/Class leveling if you really want to grind it.


I hope in the future we will have more features for our companions. Wasn't there something about going into dungeons with Chocobos a while back?
