Now imagine every new patch there is a new set of PvE gear as a new player and you can't even wear it until you do 600 dungeons. Nobody would play the game.

Please raise the token requirement for PvP gear and remove the Rank Requirement. Rank already makes you better in PvP by giving you stats and better abilities.
Pvp gear is entirely useless, so lets fix that before you whine about it being to difficult to get rank ups. Pvp gear should be overpowered in all forms of pvp not simply wolves den. Screw the casuals if you are going to waste resources on "pvp" gear then make it worth something, or don't make the gear at all.

Yeah, screw the idea of actually having to be good to be helpful in PvP! PvP gear should allow us to wipe players who use PvE out of existence! /s

Seriously? Even WoW is doing away the idea of having PvP gear be overpowered (making it only a transmogrification/glamour thing), frankly if you need PvP to be overpowered you are the PvP "casual". Although I don't believe that word suits this case, but whatever. Every player should be on equal footing, period.

Mmk then, lets throw out all variations of gear then (raid, crafter, gatherer, lvling gear) and all wear the lvl 1 glamour pieces for every piece of content. That seems like equal footing.

I'm referring to PvP, y'know, where people actually compete with each other directly. PvP has very little players as is, do you really want to make the "casuals" who play every so and so to quit because they get destroyed the moment they step into a Frontlines match? That already happens anyway, how? Because the skill difference between a newbie and an experienced player is incredibly large. If it weren't up to skill, then the players would get frustrated and never participate again. Remember how bad Frontlines queues were during 2.55? I remember never getting less than 30 minutes, and it frequently reaching 60-100+ minutes. That sure was fun.

Frontlines is a casual mode, if you want PvP gear to be useful you'll have to wait until they introduce Wolves' den 2 in 3.1.
