Will the Draught Chocobo be able to fly?

As the title states, can you please make the Draught Chocobo be able to fly? Along with the Amber Draught Chocobo and the wedding one? It seems like a shame to have these 2 seater mounts and they hardly get used :/

I know they said they would release double seater flying mounts, but I really want to use my amber chocobo sometimes ^^; After all...I recruited a buncha people to get it haha.

    Thanks for reading ^_^

    Agreed!

Wedding Chocobo also needs to get flying too! I mean BF and I paid a lot for our wedding, $40 combined so it really should be able to fly now with HW. We never get to use it anymore :/

The problem with these mounts is that they are 2-seater. SE has to weigh their options on how to approach this. Currently you can't jump off a mount that's flying. If 2-seaters could fly now, nothing would prevent someone taking off and then going AFK, holding the passenger hostage (even if by mistake). Then you also have the issue of someone using a 2-seater to help someone else gather aether points for flying, or to have access to an area of a map they shouldn't be able to get to yet (such as Sea of Clouds or Azys Lla).

SE needs to develop a set of rules for 2-seater mounts when it comes to flying.
    - Do both riders have flight privileges in that area (requires additional checks for each zone and each rider)?
    - Should a chocobo with 2 people even be able to fly (weight limit rule which would solve all current problems, but be the most restrictive).
    - Can a passenger force a chocobo to land if need be?
    - Should teleporting remain locked while a passenger is on-board?
    - Can the passenger himself be able to teleport off a chocobo in the case of an AFK driver?

I'm not against the idea or anything, just saying how allowing 2-seaters to fly is a lot harder than 1-seater mounts due to additional factors that must be accounted for, which is why they can't fly already as SE decides how they want to approach the issue that's fair to the players but not time/resource intensive to develop.

Actually it would be fairly simple if you use established rules:
    1) Both riders need flight privileges in the zone (same as wedding ring teleport) otherwise it walks
    2) If the driver teleports, the rider automatically goes with them just as if they had crossed a zone line. If the rider teleports, the driver has a short-timed prompt to accept or not - if they do they port together mounted, and if they don't accept, the rider teleports on their own.
    3) If the rider feels the need to eject while flying, they can dismount and will automatically eject onto a default flying mount. The only issue with this is that the game never forces you to learn a mount so it would require a mandatory mount of some kind.

What if the driver ports to an area the rider doesn't have access to yet?

Either send the access-less player to the nearest aetheryte or tell the driver that they can't do the teleport because someone doesn't have access like when you try to enter an instance that not everyone has unlocked.

Or just let the passenger fall.

Yeah this, you can't die from falling damage in this game so it's not like it matters.
