As someone who wrote addons in WoW, as long as SE puts some way to read the log or targeted mob's state (Buffs/Debuffs/Castbar)... you will see DBM style addons. Most of the fights are scripted as well allowing for timers. People keep saying "it will be restricted" but that will just mean you won't get things like Decursive in Vanilla WoW, you don't need much to make a DBM. The above events/info is kinda standard to make any kind of mod.

Which is against the TOS outside of the "don't ask, don't tell" rule Yoshi mentioned. Yes, with third party programs you can do w,e, but I was talking about the argument of "SE will restrict it to X" when it's wrong.
