I balance out all the friendly players you meet.
I am the great equalizer. I will either break your soul or encourage you to strive to be better.

Depends where one is.
- The forum can be toxic with players demeaning others for having different opinions.
- My Server is great so far, friendly people there.
- Using the DF is hard to see if people are friendly, since 95% of the runs that I do, people just greet each other and be silent for untill the end of the run.
In general from what I have experienced, ingame they are friendly, but forums not.
My personal list of friendlist MMORPG´s from best to worst:
1. The Secret World
2. Lord Of The Rings.
3. Final Fantasy XIV
4. Ragnarok Online
5. World of Warcraft

WoW forums is like a giant cesspool of juvenile sarcasm, ego and arrogance.
This sounds right to me.
Even though DF groups won't see each other ever again, people are usually nice and say hi or crack jokes, and will teach new people things. Meanwhile, you have people wanting you burned at the stake for mentioning FFXI or WoW on the forums, and God forbid you say that something in the game could be done better or that something in the game is done well already.
Why stop there? Saying anything positive about FF14 gets you branded as a white knight.
In-game? Yeah it's pretty damn friendly, met some pretty cool people just by putting up a PF saying "I'm bored."
On the forums? Well...I don't think I've ever seen a forum that was all sunshine and rainbows so I'll leave it alone.
