    I'm rather curious about how they're planning to address Mudra lag, to be honest. I wish he would have given more detail. I have a bad feeling that this is going to be one of those things they keep having to revisit (like all those BLM Flare combos they kept trying to fix, many of which were all due to client/server checks not updating Umbral Ice and the like quickly enough).

    Ninja indeed is much weaker than the other 2 melee's, at least after the latest monk patch they were handing out. If you want to give the melee's an order in terms of how much DPS they're capable to burst out it'd probably be MNK > DRG > NIN, DRG and MNK can swap on certain fights obviously, whereas NIN will remain the weakest if everyone plays their class properly.

    If every melee class is doing their job properly in Savageturns the ninja should be behind the drg / mnk by like 50+ dps with the same gear (a3 and a4, dont really care for 1 and 2).

    With the latest patches and 3.0 out ninja can be easily replaced by monks, both drg and mnks have way higher damageoutput, so why bother with having the tank e.g. tank in sword outh with shadewalker for more damage if you can just use mnk / drg instead?

    Not asking for a huge buff or anything, but giving the stances the magical buff back for 20% on Raiton would be enough already to satisfy me and make the ninja worth it again in terms of damageoutput.

    Running with DRG / MNK combo pretty much makes up for Trick Attack mate, especially Monk's dps alone is so much higher than ninja that Trick Attack is basically not needed anymore. DRG is in the party anyway for the Bard buff (considering you are running bard).

    But 'making up for' and 'much weaker' are entirely different things. Also TA still makes burst phases much easier, a departement where mnk is still lacking. Not saying that mnk is in a bad spot, mnk is in a really good spot post buff. The way you make it sound though is more like drg+mnk is obviously the superior combination, which is not true.
