I dont have ANY master book that needs grind ways <-<.
All my crafters classes are lv60. And I still make a ALOT of money!
Im about to buy me(yeah only for me!) a LARGE house for 40-45mio and leaving my current Medium one! o_O

Preparing for future content by acquiring new gear or hoarding particular items while there's still ample time to spare isn't what I'd consider a waste of time, effort or materials. There system may be terrible, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be utilised for what it is and offers.

Just peeking in here to ask...do we know approximately when 3.1 will come?

yoschi never said ishgard housing will come in 3.1 not sure were you got info from. its probaly false info. they got some background work to do before that happens they said lately. anyway housing is not important. imo we need more endgame content and that fast. 3.1 better be here around late september/early october otherwise we surpass the 3 month mark already. and ff doesnt have enough endgame content to keep players busy without adding stuff every 3 months.

The even more idiotic grind that was added to gathering and crafting with Heavensward is the reason that I've barely played in the past month.

The game feels more like work than fun. It sucks, and I doubt 3.1 is going to change that until the development team shifts the focus of DoH and DoL back to players being able to be self-sufficient with a reasonable amount of effort and away from keeping prices on the MB high to keep the greedy players happy.

The Halloween stuff was added to the files in 3.07, so it's possible that it'll be as late as November, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's just a safety net and it'll be in October.

Yeah I feel like that also.

I mean all I ever do now is trials and then I am done, there is nothing much to do, I don't feel like spamming the dungeons cause it burns me out.

Nothing worth staying on, there is no activities to keep me busy.

I don't PVP so that's out of the question.

I wish there were NM"s like FFXI least I can kill some time waiting for that or them making something where I can actually do on game other than sit around, golden saucer has ran its course with me, even chocobo racing same tracks and card game is fun but bored of that also.

I wait though for the updates but they take forever the events are nice though can't wait for the halloween one hope it has something new.

I honestly don't see the complaints with red scrips. Favors and gathering scrips are the stupid part. Crafting scrips are ridiculously easy and take no time at all to cap.
