Unable to fish in The Iron Feast

For nearly a week now, I have been unable to fish in the Iron Feast. The area is bugged for me, as no matter where I fish around the fishing hole, I always get "The fish sense something amiss..." notification. Porting out and coming back in does not solve the issue, nor does trying different baits. I only fish lightning eels and turn those in en mass for my red scripts so not being able to fish here for almost a week now has been a dent in my scripts.... reset was today as well and I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this issue. I've heard issues with FFXIV and Windows 10, but I've fished here plenty of times since upgrading so I don't think that's an issue. Has any other fishers run into this problem?

Here's a video of the bug.

Have you tried fishing someplace else, then returning? I believe the fish sensing something amiss is an anti-RMT feature to keep them from fishing 24/7 at one location. I've also noticed that if I'm fishing someplace, my queue pops, and I come right back from my instance and try to fish where I was, I get the error. So, if anything it seems warping somewhere else actually CAUSES this rather than fixes it.

Long time ago when I was fishing the map with lv1 gear outside Moh Dhona, a lalafell tho i was a bot and tried to MPK me,
at the beginning i didn't respond bcoz i wanted to see if i would be killed, however, he failed MPK me even i didnt move.
I tho he had reported me as a bot, bcoz later i got the same issue as OP for the whole day.

Finally i moved and explained to him i was not a bot, and we made friend, however, i have never seen him then. ^^

This happens as soon as I enter the area though. Like teleporting from foundation to tailfeather(hinterlands). I go straight to the spot and cannot fish there right off the bat. I presumed the notification was so players already fishing would move to a different spot in that fishing area, and be able to fish normally thereafter? This was always the case for me until recently. I don't see why they would change it to the entire fishing hole, when it was working fine before...

No this had existed for awhile, but rarely. Had it happen on two different occasions last year (once on silver sovereigns, another on emperor fish). Wouldn't stop after teleporting etc. until i just did a cast in an entire new fishing hole.

As others have said, the issue (unsure of the specific circumstances that trigger it) requires that you fish at least once at a completely different fishing hole (in any zone, just as long as it's not the same fishing hole). It's happened to me once or twice, I believe when queing up for a dungeon, fishing, participating in said dungeon, and then returning to fish (fish sensed something was amiss upon first cast when I returned). Perfectly resolved by casting at any other fishing hole (for whatever reason).
